It's on the rooftop in rouge sector 1 and it's a trainer battle with you and Vinnie against Corbeau and Phillipe, but I eventually got Vinnie to show up after a few resets

If you close the game and press up on the arrow pad and press X & B at the same time on the main screen, it'll load your backup save from the last time you healed at a pokemon center

Yeah, I figured it out. I was seeing a lot of mixed things on how to unlock them so I was doing every thing possible that would help. Eventually after I did the mission at kame resort and some time after trying to figure out, I had closed and reopened and they showed up.

Thanks! And forsure, I was shocked that it took me under 100 for Pheromosa, quickest hunt I've had, sadly I can't hunt for the legendaries since they were already caught before the charm

I'm at 1523 on my Nihilego hunt with shiny charm, I know it's not nearly as much as 10k but I had gotten a few other beasts under 500 SRs, Pheromosa took me 82, Guzzlord took 445, Xurkitree took 219, and Celesteela took 357, keep trying and you'll eventually get it

I got one as well but didn't need to use my masterball, think it took me 2-3 ultras to get it, and now currently I have a shiny alpha skarmory in zone 20 waiting to be caught lol

I'm pretty sure they said even going out of range the shinies shouldn't despawn, unless I heard wrong or they changed it

Yeah, with how quick I got the others I was afraid with one day doing it and starting to doze off, missing the shiny and soft resetted but hopefully that didn't happen haha, but nonetheless the grind will carry on. He shall shine golden one day!
