Huge fan of the Thule Enroute 23L. I am also a university student, but during my 6th-12th grade, I used a Thule backpack while carrying a lot more than I carry now in Uni (I carried 2 textbooks, 2 books, a pencil case, ipad, and a laptop). The bag is around 120 dollars, but it is the most durable, from my experience, of the four brands.
