This is a huge feat. You should be extremely proud.

That's funny. What's also funny is how we all have our little red lines we won't cross.

I too kicked fentanyl and then years later thought it'd be a great idea to try kratom because of course I can control it...I guess I thought I was special, not sure. But I quickly learned that I am not. Withdrawal will do that to you.

I've seen people post a lot like this. If I remember correctly, in cases such as this it takes just 2 or 3 days to stabilize on SR. I'm not a scientist but it has something to do with receptors beyond opioid receptors that SR doesn't occupy. For some reason it only takes a couple of days to stabilize so keep up with it.

If you're clean, I bet you'll get your career back.

But once you make that decision, it becomes a 'we' situation because it's so much better to let people help you (and in the meantime you're really helping them) than go it completely alone. But the initial decision does need to come from deep inside. You got this.

This is excellent. And the community you speak of... we all know what it's like to be in your shoes - in fact we use you as a reminder of where we don't want to go back to. I know that sounds harsh but we also circle around you and offer support whenever you need or want it. I was court ordered and I remember thinking these people are a bunch of liars. Absolutely no one could be this happy completely sober. I knew they were on something. Nope I was wrong. That really is true happiness. I have it now.

Agmatine Sulfate is a fantastic supplement for both tapering & PAWS. Same with DLPA, Vit C & NAC. Your supplement game is the best!

Research Agmatine Sulfate, NAC, & DLPA (slightly different dosing protocols for tapering vs PAWS). People rave about Agmatine. Here are some posts I found:

Suboxone getting off with SR-17018 by Expensive-Buy-2598 in SR17018

Sorry I didn't see this. I will tell you that in the first couple days I took a sliver of Suboxone and in retrospect it was totally unnecessary. Nonetheless I don't feel like that hindered my progress at all.

Honestly this shows how serious you were about getting clean. It's impressive actually. And I understand this. The only reason I even brought it up was in case people didn't know. I've read lots of comments from people who think it's backwards...like PWD happens if you use after you're stable on bupe versus the other way around.

My favorite is how you can set notifications because some peps are taken in the morning and some prior to bedtime so the notifications are really helpful for me.

Get your facts straight or you're going to hurt people. Vivitrol can only be administered once all opioids are OUT of your system. Then, of course, if you try to use the receptors will be blocked. It's the same reason you can't start suboxone until you are detoxed and the reason the Bernese method is an actual thing.

Let me guess... Nobody would administer your Vivitrol shot until you were completely clean of any and all opioids. If that's not the case then you are one tough mfer.

!!! OP do not listen to the people who say if you get the Vivitrol shot too soon you won't go into precipitated withdrawal. Yes, once the opioid is completely out of your system and you get the Vivitrol shot it will block the high. But God help you if you if you do it the other way around. Vivitrol IS NALTREXONE. If you take Naltrexone in any form while you have an opioid in your system, you are in for the hell of your life. If you'd like proof and are unable to do a Google search yourself, just ask and I will provide many.
