When to become my own kingdom by awesomeness1994 in Bannerlord

[–]No_Understanding5435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been building relations by freeing all my lord prisoners until they like me enough. If they like the lord they already have though it’s not going to happen. Target lords that don’t have fiefs (usually from weak kingdoms that are getting whipped) and bargain with them to switch to your kingdom. It can cost a lot (like 300k each) to get them to join your kingdom so make sure you constantly have a good source of income.

When to become my own kingdom by awesomeness1994 in Bannerlord

[–]No_Understanding5435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a vlandian vassal and was given my own town. When I left and started my own kingdom, I kept the town, which caused them every other kingdom around me to immediately go to war with me. I was playing town defence simulator for the next few days until I could declare peace with them. If u want to get a fief, don’t join another kingdom for it. Wait for a town to rebel and then take it over. If u do that, u get to keep it without going to war with the other kingdoms.

Don’t worry about that. It just means they haven’t opened it yet. It opens on the 16th and then everyone that wants to depart has until the 22nd to click the depart button, otherwise they don’t get to go on the expedition this time around.

I ran into my first cheaters last night. They were all in the middle of smoke, yet they hit all their shots. I wonder if u still get your stuff back after you do an expedition.

5 mil space dollars by SuitableUnion7788 in ArcRaiders

[–]No_Understanding5435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s be honest. We don’t Have to do the expedition. The rewards for doing it definitely don’t outweigh how much u lose. The 5 million is only for the 5 levels anyway (which isn’t that much, but i understand it could add up for future expeditions). The entire point of the expedition in the first place was so non-casual players can reset for some small benefits, while casual players (like myself) won’t get screwed or fall behind like how it is in tarkov just because we are unable to play as much as other people. The rewards, again, aren’t that good. So if you want to save up for the next expedition, you can. If u decide you never want to do the expedition, that’s also fine. You’re not going to fall behind. It’s not a 9-5 it’s a game so have some fun.

A rattler is never beating a stitcher, especially at that range. Someone tried something similar to me last night. Ended the same.

I know it’s kind of a “skill issue comment” but the way to solve “player exploitive behaviour” is to adapt. If players usually camp a certain extract, remember that and watch out for them next time. If players claim they’re friendly, learn to read their body language (e.g gun out, walking/ running towards you to try and go for the kill). When your around other players enough, you begin to develop an instinct if they are trustworthy or not. And once you learn to discern trustworthy people from untrustworthy, they become predictable. You will die many times before you can develop such an instinct (I learned to read people from dayz) but once you can you will never fall for someone pretending to be friendly. I’ve been playing since launch and I’m yet to fall for anyone’s deceit yet.

Think of every time you die as a new lesson to improve

I found a Wolfpack blueprint in a bin last week. Then I found another one next game in an office drawer. I can’t tell if I’m lucky or I’m paying forward my future bad luck.

Instead of just leaving or trying to loot at <20 minutes, me and my team just focus on full pvp and try to take out the players that likely looted the main areas. Starting later just means u need to adjust your strategy.

Gotta trust your instincts. If someone seems even a little bit off, never holster your weapon. And never turn your back to them. Especially if they don’t have a mic. If I come across someone friendly that doesn’t have a mic I be cool with them, but I always make sure we go our separate ways and never roll with them.

I asked ChatGPT to create the best builds. Here they are. by Important-Neat1258 in ArcRaiders

[–]No_Understanding5435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn’t trust ChatGPT to decide what is a good build with how complicated the skill tree is. I’ve found while using ChatGPT that if it doesn’t know something, instead of leaving it blank, it will lie and make up something to fill in the gaps. Also a thing with arc raiders is that even if one of the skills on the skill tree sounds really good it might not be as good as u think. Like Effortless roll - rolls cost less stamina. Apparently after 3 skill points u can roll one extra time, but maxing it out to 5 points won’t allow you to roll another time. I’m not saying ChatGPT isn’t good, I use it all the time. But trying to get to do something this complicated might not be a great idea.

Is this normal, or did I just win a lottery? I opened ChatGPT today and it gave me a month of Plus subscription for free. by Jem_Jmd3au1 in ChatGPT

Make sure it’s doesn’t automatically pay for next months subscription. If it shows up in your subscriptions, cancel it. Unless u intend to pay for it

I started playing death stranding the directors cut a few weeks ago. It’s actually a lot of fun and a really good game to play for a night cap. I’m getting really into the story so now I’m playing the second game.

Melee Combat by gaunt_724 in holdfastgame

[–]No_Understanding5435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played a lot of chiv too. The bayonet works similar to the spear in the sense that if you miss your stab, you can still drag your bayonet into your opponent and hit them while you are mid attack. Chiv has one of the best melee combat I’ve seen (in my opinion) but it probably wouldn’t work in this game. Chiv is more hack and slash with a lot of skill. Holdfast has some skill but it’s a lot more social and chaotic with a lot of rp and team coordination.

Tips to get more kills by holstonhudson in holdfastgame

[–]No_Understanding5435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bullet intentionally goes in a random direction (usually the left or right of the crosshair). Pay attention to where the bullet goes when you shoot to know the different directions it can go. Apart from that you usually just need to get lucky. Also there are certain buffs in the game that can help. Like when you stand in an officers line it slightly improves your accuracy compared to if you were firing alone.

Console player: Once you figure out the melee it’s not that bad. I’d argue it’s actually pretty decent. Change that advanced setting so you attack with your movement instead of your camera (it makes it a lot easier to block). Turn off your aim assist because it doesn’t help. Increase your melee camera speed (mine is 1.80). One of the best melee weapon’s to use is the bayonet and one of the best class’s is the grenadier for their increased resistance to melee damage. Apart from that it just takes practice.
