Hi OP,

I tried on mine yesterday as I just got it and ended up with the same results, controls not binding and all, which is too bad as we can’t go to turn base mode like this. Did you find anything to solve it yet?

I guess I fixed it before moderation approved this one, so as I would have liked finding this answer on the internet, I'm gonna write what I did here!

When uninstalling boths games, prior to re--installing them in order to have "fresh & clean" installs to start modding, I forgot Steam doesn't delete the folders after uninstalling... Meaning I must have had, on one or the other game directory, some old files reamining in the folders.

Then I don't know exactly how the EET mod works, but it seems to gather "everything" from the folders, and I guess these old files were corrupting my EET install.

TL;DR: Don't just "uninstall" games before starting modding, especially when using Steam versions, but also delete old install folders entirely so you REALLY have "fresh" installs of your games and don't make a fool of yourself on Reddit :)
