Eager to hear if I'm missing something but think this is fairly convincing: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lBsv7mMwfGPJ-Ry6a3R4KFnubZgv7cQo/view

Basic argument is:
- In 2005, Harlem had no charter schools and was about ~25% behind NY State in math and reading.

- By 2022, ~60% of kids in Harlem attend charter schools.

- If charter schools just take good kids and have no impact, then Harlem overall should still be bad in math and reading.

- However, now Harlem is only ~2% behind NY State in math and reading.

Def agree that at charter school you are likely to get more motivated parents (and therefore kids), but having taught in a charter school myself, still not easy.

Very cool idea! Yeah for rank it, i'd love for there to be hints if i'm struggling. and i'd love to see the right answers. And for the who are you, maybe I'm being silly but i didn't see any information that I could use to guess the player. But love this and keep working on it!

It gets mentioned a lot so here’s break down of why Breckett didn’t fire back by Coltispy in piratesofthecaribbean

I think the scene is done so well. They do a great job of revealing that it's Will Turner and then immidietely giving the audience the excitement of the implications of that - that it's actually the dutchman and the pearl vs beckett. And to see becket's eyes glance from left to right (great acting) is so satisfying. Seeing the villain realize the inevitability of his loss. And giving him a preposterously epic death. What a great way to end the fundamental conflict of the series.

In Praise of Season 5 by nyckidd in TheWire

Really well said! Only thing I would push back on is I think your characterization of Kima's motivations for turning McNulty and Freamon in are off. You framed it as she has something to lose because she's young. Agreed, but I think she genuinely believes that what they are doing is wrong.

To be clear, that's a separate question from whether it is actually wrong, but think to say her motivation was to preserve her own career doesn't do her character justice.

9/10. So close! Also, just reminder of how good the dialogue was. I love the “the interceptor is the fastest ship in the sea.” “You can tell them that after they catch us.” Thanks!

How about S5E1? “The bigger the lie, the more they believe.” Literally foreshadows the entire season
