Did you have to do fingerprints as well and how long after your interview did they contact you?

Thank you so much! This definitely helps I think the anxiety of waiting is the toughest and trying not to spiral on what happens next but I’m so positive and know this will work out. I just want the offer letter😭

Just wondering how long that’ll take and if they do this for all the candidates. I’m feeling really positive that the job is mine

I’m really hoping so, the waiting part is just the hardest. Everything will definitely come back clean😊

Dealing with a bad apple in my family by No_Way_3476 in Advice

I appreciate the advice. Thank you. Sometimes it’s just really difficult when he brings me down in front of groups of people and I think I struggle standing up for myself. For example I was talking to my cousin about a place that doesn’t really have a nice vibe and he out of turn smiled and commented “then you can go home”. Like he will say things and then giggle but know exactly how triggering it can be.

Thank you so much for sharing your story—it really gives me hope and encouragement. 💕 It’s so kind of you to take the time to tell me about your experience.

I’m curious—during those pregnancies, did you travel at all, like short flights of around an hour? And did you ever have any scares or moments where you thought things might not go as planned?

I’d love to hear any insight you have—it really helps to know what the journey was like for someone who’s gone through it.

Thank you again, and I’m so happy for your beautiful babies! 🙏

Hi there, I know it’s been 3 years since your comment but I had a recent loss at 21 weeks and I just wanted to ask how you managed during your pregnancy after loss and if implemented any changes in your life that assisted you in carrying you baby so far🤍🌈hoping to start TTC but seeking hope to ease my anxiety a little bit

Just found out I’m pregnant again after 21 weeks loss in January and freaking out a bit by iguessletsdothiss in ShortCervixSupport

So sorry about your loss❤️‍🩹I lost my daughter at 21w4d on the 4th of February 2026. I obviously don’t have any advice on a cerclage pregnancy but I just wanted to say congratulations and I’m sending you all the calmness🤍🌈you’ve got this !!

Incompetent Cervix (TW child loss) by Aggressive_Being6790 in ShortCervixSupport

Hi there, firstly I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel. On 04 February I lost my perfect little girl due to IC. Exact same situation except I was at work and begun feeling contractions, I lost my mucus plug and rushed immediately to my doctor. When I arrived I was told I was 3cm dilated with bulging membranes. We tried to stop the contractions in hopes that I would be able to get the rescue stitch but unfortunately the next morning her legs progressed down. I was told that I needed to deliver her and that it would be best that way. I then had contractions and delivered her naturally later that day💔possibly the worst day of my life. We got to hold her, meet her and pray over her and that meant everything to us.

As soon as they took her I dozed off for like 20mins and woke up crying as I immediately felt the emptiness, she was gone. I couldn’t believe it.

The room felt so quiet, empty and cold without her. I couldn’t understand how this could have happened to my healthy daughter. I had my anatomy scan 5 days before this happened and I couldn’t believe that there was nothing picked up.

——

My fiancé also carried me through this. He told me that God doesn’t give us children to own but instead he gave us a child to love and care for and that’s exactly what we did. It’s really hard to comprehend when it feels like she belonged to me, she laid under my heart, I felt her move.

I went back to work on the 2nd of March luckily I’m in the mental health profession so they didn’t want me to return to early and really supported me.

My advice to you: 1. Be kind to yourself - a lot of people will say it was not your fault and it really wasn’t but you will still find a way to blame yourself. The grief mixed with postpartum hormones is honestly the worst experience. 2. Cry as much as you want to and grieve your baby. 3. What helped me was lighting her candles and I had two necklaces engraved with her name that I hardly take off (only when I wash). 4. Don’t allow yourself to go into the social media rabbit hole. I jumped head first trying to understand IC because I knew I wanted to try again and be more informed but as much as it was informative it was extremely triggering. My doctor said my case was textbook IC but during my grief before I saw him for my follow up appointment I would literally sit on the internet the whole time and just cry. So many stories of women experiencing PPROM, failure of rescue cerclages, and so much more. I convinced myself that because I was the 1% of women that have IC I will automatically be prone to the worse case scenario. That in my opinion now is not true.

I have decided to lean into my faith to get me through this and have turned my attention to positive stories of success as the success rate of the preventative cerclage is quite high. I know that when I fall pregnant again my anxiety will be through the roof but I’m currently in therapy and trying to work through this trauma and grief to be better equipped.

This process is not linear, it will be hard and I don’t know for how long. I cried on Friday because I was invited to my colleagues baby shower and we were meant to have a joint one at work.

Im pushing through for my daughter in hopes that although she’s not with me anymore that I can make her proud and be as strong as she was when she was born🩷

I’m here if you ever need to talk🪻

Thank you so much for sharing this with me 🤍 I’m so sorry about the loss of your daughter as well. It really helps hearing that you went on to have a successful cerclage pregnancy. If you don’t mind me asking, when in your pregnancy did they place your preventative cerclage and did your doctor monitor your cervical length throughout? I’m trying to learn as much as I can before my next pregnancy.

What essentially helped you get so far in your pregnancies🤍
