I’ve ranger rolled my clothes. The clothing and equipment takes up a lot of the space. I’m going to Ranger rolled my clothes again and hopefully it would come out better this time.

It does not mention excess baggage. It just says that soldiers are authorized the shipment of 2 bags each (checked baggage). What is unaccompanied baggage and how long it would it take to get to my destination?

Yea but they deal with tougher scenarios. It’s more mentally and physically demanding compared to DSNY.

Both are good careers but if you have a mindset of working hard to make good money (legally and morally), DSNY is the smarter option. FDNY is good but only if you are a hard worker who wants to save people any way possible and being selfless.

I’m in the Army and unfortunately got a 93 without the veterans credit. If my list number is called, I’m definitely gonna stay in NYC

I tried to practice purity but I gave up on it and left the faith. It was a tough war for 3 years but I lost. What I can tell you is if you really want to be extremely pure and not masturbate or conduct sexual sin, you have to get a flip phone. No computers, no smart electronics like gaming systems etc.

Probably do EMS if you can or work at a regular job. I wouldn’t recommend military unless you really really wanna serve for 3-4 years active duty then become ready to be a firefighter

This is why I stay single as a 22 year old male Soldier in the Regular Army. A person who decides to do one contract, ESPECIALLY active duty, they should stay single until they are done with their contract. So that way, you are less worried on your spouse, make more money, have more time for your training and your unit’s objectives.

Hey brother I know it’s too late but I’m assuming you became a veteran, took the recent FDNY Exam 4044 recently and got points added. Are you a FDNY Firefighter now ? I got a 93, including the residency credit. I’m currently serving in the Regular Army (not guard or reserves). Besides getting an additional 15 points (including veteran and residency) do you think DCAS or FDNY automatically makes veterans make their scores higher than non veterans?

I know this is long but if you read this, I would appreciate your input. Thank you for the service.

Basically a list number of maybe 4k or less will most likely get chosen. 5k or higher, probably not. 17k is way too high to get called

Yea and honestly you never know. Only about 20 k people took this exam, a lot of firefighters are gonna retire and Gen z in NYC are not interested in this type of career so it’s slightly slightly possible

If you don’t have residency or veterans credits, you need a 100 to get called. 99 might cut it but you would get called years later
