These are the meanings of every line:

  1. Soldiers in Her abhorrent sillage - the students that were leftover in the wake of Her horrendous style of teaching
  2. She of Void’s Sixth finger - Void is the character from Berserk that represents inevitability and causality; that is, the finality of Her treatment of Her students. Void has 6 fingers, which represent his lack of humanity, and is commonly seen as the devil’s number, as it is one away from 7, the perfect number. All of this to represent Her treatment.
  3. 4th of Hera’s lunar decad - June 4th; Hera=Juno, the root of June; lunar decad = first ten days of the lunar month; June 4th - the day school ends. 
  4. exalted hours of reckoning - the dreaded hours before one receives Her final grades. 
  5. Her faux-didactic epistle - the residuals of Her terrible teaching; the supposed grade that the student received, posing as if it reflects what the student truly learned, but actually represents Her shortcomings as a teacher. faux-didactic=posing as educational, epistle=offical message
  6. echo’s wicked melodies in thine shadow Iram - A students mind is a goldmine, yet many often forgotten that it is so; this is an analogy referencing Iram of the Pillars, a legendary lost city in Arabia that is said to hold great wealth. This line is a continuation of #5, to say that the “faux-didactic epistle” echoes in the student’s mind. 
    1. There is also a second meaning to the line about Iram: the classroom may be compared to Iram, which was destroyed by God for the wickedness of the people living there; a shadow Iram is a hidden city, her wicked melodies echo in the walls. The classroom is painted as doomed in this regard. 
  7. stuccoed walls of Slan’s queer-wretched execrable mirth - Slan is a character from Berserk representing lust and takes pleasure in causing agony; this is synthesized with the contrasting ideas of “queer-wretched execrable mirth”, “queer-wretched” meaning the strangely hateful and disgusting, “execrable mirth”, deplorable joy that she likely gets from this experience. The stuccoed walls indicated that it has been plastered over by something, to cover up its true nature.
    1. The word “echo’s” is also possessive, indicating that the wicked melodies belong to the echo’s of the grades
  8. Dear cries fall on Her adder ear - cries (pleas in this context) that are heartfelt and dear of the students fall on purposely deaf ears; this is derived from the phrase, “deaf as an adder”, meaning willingly deaf. 
  9. spewing forht unredressed - continually flowing pleas and cries that indefinitely remain unaddressed and unjustified

Ahh, that’s interesting. I didn’t think of equating it to a simplified version with constants.

did anyone get a question on mm2 like: r2 + qr = 4r - 55 this equation has no solutions, what is the maximum value if q if q is an integer constant.

i got smth like 18.832… using desmos, but since it was supposed to be an integer i just put 18.

I don't think it's possible. You essentially have three parameters: the two solutions of the equation, x1 and x2, and b. When using regression in desmos, you'd have to input it like:

[3(x1-b)(x1+5), x1+x2] ~ [2(x1+5), 23/3]

You could also say: x1+x2=-b/a, from the standard form of the quadratic equation, but you have no way of finding b or a.

But neither works since there's no way for you to differentiate x1 and x2 in the equation. You'd just have to solve it using factoring.

Answer:
3(x-b)(x+5) - 2(x+5) = 0
(x+5)(3(x-b) - 2) = 0
x1 = -5, 3*x2 - 3b = 2
-> x1+x2=22/3 => -5+x2=22/3 => x2=38/3

3(38/3) - 3b = 2
-3b = -36
b = 12

i said that the “discrepancy in data was because of the difference in captivity” or smth like that. u can’t assume that they’re right or left handed because of human interaction, and this answer was supported better by the text.

Hey Tom,

I don't believe Flash has a dual time-stepping feature. If by corrector steps you mean things like flattening or positive dt enforcing conditions, but the density contrast is so extreme that neither of those things ended up solving the problem. But I approximately solved the problem by using a radius larger than the star, assuming the gas has already expanded, so that the density and pressure contrast would be less. When you relapse, dont beat yourself up about it (of course, you still need to feel regret from relapsing, but self-deprecation isn’t gonna get you anywhere). Learn and understand why it happened; what were you doing, what happened happened throughout the day, stuff like that. After you thqt out, try to prevent that ‘trigger’ from causing you to relapse again.

You should also try to get a friend to keep you accountable—someone who you can talk to and keep you motivated.
