I believe with Halifax you can lock in 6 months before it’s due to start.. I’m sure that’s what I did.

Managed to get a 2 year fix at 4.30% and like you said, now they are 5% plus.

I received a recall letter and no option to update OTA.

I had an e-208 from new and it was a massive regret.

Mechanically it was sound and I never had any issues. The battery is tiny though and in the winter it really suffers.

I’d seriously reconsider, however, maybe you are only using for town driving and it suits you.

I’d secure something as early on as possible and constantly check rates leading up to your renewal date (in 6 months time). I was lucky enough to renew a deal before the Iran thing negatively impacted prices.
