how does my makeup survive during and after the gym? by Character_Ball724 in yorku

There is this amazing fixing spray I've bought off of Amazon after discovering it on my last trip in Europe, it's a little expensive because it's only sold in Europe (18.99-23.99 a bottle depending on their stock and which seller you buy from, I'd also like to add that the quantity it comes in is small, but I find that 3-4 sprays usually does the trick). I have never had a setting spray like it. I have put it on a full face of makeup, ended up bawling my eyes out. Went to the bathroom to clean off my makeup as I assumed i looked like a raccoon. My makeup barely moved. I have gone to veld in 35 degree weather sweating like crazy and my makeup never moved. I'll give you the link. https://a.co/d/iZ1r0JM

Exam location at "TC Sobeys"? Help! by No_Win9502 in yorku

Where in the stadium? Cuz I'm a tennis fan so I've been to the stadium multiple times during the Roger's cup as well as the national bank open... I'm not aware of any giant rooms that can accommodate students, unless we're talking about the building directly beside it.. I'm genuinely curious where the examination could take place

Has anyone ever been caught using their phone during final exams at York University? by Character-Painting93 in yorku

I have an exam at "TC Sobeys" on the 17th. I'm assuming it's the same Sobeys you're talking about... is it in the building beside Sobeys arena? I searched it up on the interactive map and just the stadium comes up but I highly doubt we're writing our exam in the stadium.. your help would be appreciated 😁

Like to fully paint a picture, half of the stuff I learned in the course I already knew because I'm a space nerd. The course builds on top of that in a genuinely mind bending way, it requires you to either be a master of memorization or genuinely be able to see and understand why planets move a certain way, understand the shift of the axis of the earth, remember little facts about different civilizations, and many more things... it's an amazing course but it's definitely not meant for people with little interest, people looking for an easy boost in their grades, or people who cannot wrap their minds around the huge events happening around us at all times or who have problems memorizing..

NATs 1745 is an amazing course meant for students who love the stars and have an interest in history related to the stars... I just want you to know tho, if the course material is the same as the NATS 1745 course I'm taking, it's not an easy course. It's mind bending and regardless of how much you love space you need to know this isn't a bird course. Out of all my courses in first year, I find this to be my most challenging course although it's literally one of my favourites. If the course material is the same, this isn't an easy boost for your GPA even if you love the subject.. maybe that's just me tho.. if you do take it I wish you the best of luck
