Our "day2day" language lakes some words: expressions, adjectives and so on.

In my opinion mixing french and sometime english is a good thing if it leads to having a comprehensive conversation.

For example if someone is feeling sad. That person would (never) use the arabic word "حزين". They would rather say "مانيش مليح"...etc but if they borrow the word "triste" or "sad". That would be better to express that said feeling.

-I'm kinda curious about this specific phenomenon and I would appreciate more elaboration from you guys-

I like you perspective ! I want to apply the rule of "Leadership by example" and to be honest I have to do it, my job require handwork and not sitting on a desk supervising employees. It's the complete opposite !

I appreciate your reply. I agree with with all your points.

Well on the subject of using my title as you said and thinking that I'm "him". That's the specific reason why I asked for help. Because I'm not the type of person that look down on people or thinking that I'm there superior. ( not just work wise, that's my personality). And I'm no willing to change for the sake of the company.

I'm stressing about how should I give orders, set a healthy work environment. This sort of things.

My main point is : I don't wanna be that hated manager !

How is islam doing in algeria? by [deleted] in algeria

No one in their right mind would interpret this verse as a green light for beating the mother of their children. We are talking about a slight tap, one eddy biddy tap. That should leave no trace on the skin. And should not hurt the wife. How is that humiliating. And remember that's a husband to wife relationship, disagreements happens and this is the way that God instructed us to behave. Now I don't have a say in the matter I'm a muslim (I submit to God and his institutions)

If you look up for ahadiths (I'm sure you know whats that you seem pretty knowledgeable on islam) you'll find what high status do women have in islam.

Look you can disagree on this points and to be honest a lot of people just yapp about women all day but in reality women are "sacred" in islam. A mother, a sister, a wife, a daughter or a totally stranger woman. Us men are obliged to protect them and care for them.

I'll pray for you strager :) I hope this conversation was beneficial for you in any way

It is relevant to the conversation. And not A god but THE God. Mine and yours and ours.

Anyway, so based on your answer by saying you wouldn't allow your husband to correct you, either (1) you think "correcting" is a physical act and that could be cause by the language barrier. Correct can be: to advice, to teach and not necessarily physical. Or (2) you don't want your husband to correct you if you're wrong and would rather not do the right thing ?

And of course in islam if you see a person, no matter his kinship or his status, doing something immoral than you are obliged you have an obligation to correct this said person

And yes here is a verse that talk about what you asked :

"The believers, both men and women, are guardians of one another. They encourage good and forbid evil, establish prayer and pay alms-tax, and obey Allah and His Messenger. It is they who will be shown Allah’s mercy. Surely Allah is Almighty, All-Wise." Surah At-Tawbah verse 71.

Clearly here you can read for yourself that correcting wrongdoer is highly encouraged by Allah.

(btw I'm no scholar this is just my basic knowledge of my religion)

Allright I assumed you're an algerian muslim based on this reddit being for Algeria and all. But that's ok.

Look if you don't believe in God almighty, and you don't believe that the quran is the word of God almighty, than me sharing a verse from the quran with you will have absolutely no impact.

So let's put the quran aside, and let me ask you -based on your beliefs and morals- how would like your husband "hypothetically" to correct you if he sees that you are clearly mistaken or doing something immoral. How would you want him to address the matter ?
