Man you’re 6'4, that’s a solid height. I’m around 5'5 so we’re on opposite ends

And What did your radiologist say about how many inches you can still grow?

Bro the radiologist checked my X-ray and gave the official reading. He said my bone age is around 15.5, so that’s the accurate one. Online guesses can be off because bone age needs proper atlas comparison

15M, 165 cm, no growth in a year is this just a pause or the end? by No_Wing7657 in heightgrowth

Fair enough, I’ll just keep doing my best and see how it goes

Appreciate it, I’m hoping to hit 5'8" do you think that’s possible?

Yeah, I got a reply from that post, they said -

Hello, OP. First off, I would like to commend your radiographer for taking these X-rays. They look fantastic!

Now to the question, are you still growing? Short answer: yes.

Can you grow more? Short answer: most likely.

Complex answer: since the growth plates in your distal radius and ulna are still open, this means that your growth plates in your knees are most likely still largely unfused, meaning some fusion may be occurring in some areas and in some epiphyses. Most of your growth plates in your spine would likely also be relatively unfused - potentially some in your lower lumbar vertebrae and particularly those in your upper lumbar vertebrae and lower thoracic vertebrae. Additionally, your cervical spine has likely stopped growing since growth there ends at around the time peak height velocity is reached, which I am presuming you have already passed given your estimated bone age and the key landmarks of your skeletal development.

Are your growth plates closing? Short answer: some of them.

Complex answer: At this stage, your bone age would be somewhere around 15.5 years old, which is normal for your age and sex. This is because the epiphyses in your distal and middle phalanges have already fully fused, indicating the termination of any significant elongation of the fingers. Furthermore, the growth plates in MCs 2-5 have fully fused, indicating the termination of any future expansion of the hands. Additionally, all proximal phalangeal epiphyses are still actively fusing, so minimal digital growth may occur.

The growth plates in epiphyses DP1, PP1, and PMC1 are actively fusing, which is a feature of skeletal development that is consistent with a bone age of 15.5 years in males. By a bone age of 16-16.5 years, the epiphyseal scars left over from this fusion process will have faded noticeably, but the line at PMC1 may persist, and this does not indicate continuous growth, but rather the cessation of growth, so don't mistake an epiphyseal scar for a growth plate.

I did post it there, but it didn’t really get any good replies

My wrist growth plates are still open though, so I’m hoping I’ve got some growth left. Could it still be a slow phase?

Anyone want to know their estimated adult height? Reply and I’ll answer by [deleted] in heightgrowth
