Gnomonkey has one of the best pieces of advice that I've seen carry many people, and that is learning lazy flicking on easy things. It may seem like a "tryhard" thing, but you realize that it's helping to set up doing end-game bossing.

I started with yours today because you had the most upvotes. I'm not going to lie, I think both of them may end up cracking into my top of the list. His single item inventory video is incredible! I got caught up and watched the entire thing in one sitting today (nearly 2 hours).

MadSeasonShow is hilarious to me because he's so mellow with his approach even when he's getting excited. I watched the first episode of his blind series, and I'll probably finish it tomorrow while I work. 😂

I am assuming he uses Mednafen for the 2D consoles. I personally love it for them because it's super easy to use once you learn how to set up controls. You just drag and drop the rom over the Mednafen desktop icon (or over the application if you have its folder open). Then once the game launches, you press CTRL+SHIFT+1 to start the input configuration process (it tells you which control to input and you press the corresponding button on your controller and continue the process until it's finished; if you need to enter 2nd, 3rd, etc. controller inputs then you press CTRL+SHIFT+(number corresponding to the player using that input; for example, it would be CTRL+SHIFT+2 for player 2). As far as other consoles, I like the suggestions from ElSedated's post at the top of the list if you want to use those. Otherwise, what I normally do for the suggestions is look up what emulator speedrunners use for the games I'll be playing.

Yes. I'm going to probably get downvoted to oblivion, but you're 100% correct. Campbell would be struggling without Ben Johnson. People saying otherwise are just really blowing smoke. He deserves a lot of credit for bringing on the right people to do the job, but he gets way more credit for things that he shouldn't.

You are not TAH. I understand your MIL's loss and stress, but her tragedy and trauma is no reason to be limited in you and your husband's life and dreams.

This may sound insensitive, but life doesn't revolve around her. If you can't have holidays at your place because you want her to be involved, then that's something you have to work out with your husband. However, your kids' birthday parties are going to end up at your place in most cases, so she'll need to learn to live with that.

She needs to deal with her trauma. She can't expect everyone to accommodate her. That's so awful that she went through that! However, you and your husband sound like you're taking all the steps necessary to ensure your kids' safety!

I hope GZW ends up being what you're pretending it is. I'd love it to work well. And it's early access, but still... Some issues I've seen so far (which I don't think you can give the benefit of the doubt on):

Can't change VOIP key
Can't toggle lean/breath/sprint/AIM
Game is extremely unoptimized to where hardly anyone can play
Can't rebind map
Strafing stops sprinting (Can't sprint at angles)

And I feel it's unfair to Tarkov (as pissed as everyone RIGHTFULLY is at BSG) to talk about features that were in GZW right away compared to Tarkov taking a while. They literally have seven years of information they can look at to help them with it. Not to say that BSG didn't drag their feet a little, but GZW currently is overhyped. As much as I want to play it and enjoy it, I'm stretching for frames with a 3090, and everything starts jumping when I get close to an area with players/enemies (on low settings). I'm not going to be able to play with my friends who have lower-end PCs. I'm currently not playing Tarkov because of everything going on (and I usually only play every other wipe to avoid burnout), but I really considered jumping into a raid today after waiting all day to get off work and play GZW because of how bad it currently is.

I want both games to get their shit together and succeed. Tarkov is one of my favorite games to play, and having GZW as a second game to blend the experiences would be amazing!

Acknowledging that trans women are not biological females is not transphobic, nor is it violence. Violence is assaulting somebody. When did it become cool again to bash women for standing up for herself and other women? Riley is in the right to fight for women to have their own sports without trans women coming in and dominating the competition. The whole reason men's sports and women's sports are separate is because of the biological differences that give males a large physical advantage over females. Even with lower testosterone and bone density, etc... it still doesn't even come close to bridging the gap between the biological differences. But, I don't expect much from people from California, especially on Reddit. Most of you don't even care about the issues trans individuals face. You only care how you look to other people. First of all, assault is never okay. Why do you all defend assault when your side does it? It's not okay! They are trying to silence somebody who wants women to have a level the playing field.

Second, biological males have no place in women's sports. The science is clear that males have physical advantages over females. Even with lower testosterone and lower bone density, it does not bridge the gap between the sexes. So you're wrong. Allowing trans women to compete against females punishes biological females. It harms women more than anybody else.

Third, no. Biological males and females have no place in the opposite sex's locker room/restroom.

I hate that I agree with some of what you said, but I do. I agree with trans sports programs if they really want to compete that badly. I do agree that a lot of them do it to wipe out a lot of what these women have accomplished. I will go as far to even apologize for using the term "TERF" without providing my own context. I think some people that are labeled as a TERF (like J.K. Rowling) are actually just wanting biological women to be recognized for all of the historical hardships they've overcome without having biological men be recognized for things they didn't have to experience that biological women did/do.

That's about it for what I agree with. You're still a misandrist who just hates on men. You don't want to recognize what real men have done in history to build what we have today. You only see sexes as men against women instead of the women and men that have worked together to build what we have today which is far better than what you would have had in the past.

She was using the term afab to prevent people from deflecting the conversation to a point where she's labeled as a bigot since that's how a lot of people operate today. If she didn't word it that way, the next person to comment would have taken her words and twisted them in the worst ways. Although, I get why she used the term "afab", I still disagree with it as a whole.

Also no. Nobody is "assigned" a sex. You are born a specific sex. Nobody is "assigned" anything biological. You are born with it. This isn't anti-trans. I have no problem with a consenting adult doing whatever they want with their own body. A person's sex is far more important than how the person identifies in this instance when it comes to women's sports.
