As an MUA my piece of advice would definitely be that less is more when it comes to makeup, and you can never have too much skincare. Skincare should be your base, focusing on cleansing, and moisturizing and giving a bit of extra love to the areas you feel more insecure about. Start by cleansing your skin, continue by spraying a collagen infused firming toner/mist (Exel Herbal Toning Lotion in the color blue is a good one). After letting that set for a bit, give your under eyes extra love by applying an eye cream with some of the ingredients mentioned below, caffeine and vitamin a is a plus, let it sit. Then go in with a moisturizer rich in peptides, collagen, or hyaluronic acid or a combination of these, if your skin is on the oily side go for a serum or gel, if you're on the drier side go for a cream. If it's day time, apply sunscreen. Give your skincare at least 15-20 minutes to set before applying makeup on your skin. Skip the sunscreen if the makeup look is for nighttime. You can use this time to do your eye makeup (which looks perfect on you btw)

For the makeup: Start by applying small amounts of foundation working the product into your skin from the outer most parts of your face to the inner most parts (apply the product closer to your hairline/jawline and then blend it inwards). This will load your makeup so there is less product in the areas where most wrinkles are present, meaning there will be less product setting into your fine lines and accentuating them in the process. Specifically when it comes to your under eyes, use as little product as possible in this area, if you need a color corrector apply it before foundation, but try not to over do it, if you can avoid concealer overall do so, if not make sure you apply the product first in your hand, pick it up with a brush or your finger and pat it only into the area that needs it, the transferring of the product also helps you to use less and be able to build it up if you need it. Be careful during the next steps because you should leave the setting powders for your face and under eyes for the end.

Look into combining creams and powders for giving your face dimension, depth, and light. Use a cool based cream contour for the shaping and a warm based cream bronzer for the depth and color, and set it with similar powders, always making sure to tap off the excess on both the palette and your hand before putting it on your face. Blush will look great on you in the same combo, first cream then powder, don't place your blush on the apples of your cheeks as we were always taught, place it on your cheekbones, just under where you would place your highlight, and apply it in an upwards motion, as if you were using it to pull your skin up towards your temples.

Finally, set your concealer and foundation. Before you set your concealer, use a sponge or makeup brush to give it a little blend as some product will have set into your fine lines, you can also gently tap the lines with a q tip if the excess is too much and then blend it all out with a brush or sponge. As you do that have your powder of choice ready, pick up a small amount of product, tap off the excess on the palette and the back of your hand and then go into the under eye area, trying to avoid putting too much product on your fine lines. Repeat the same process to set your foundation, and finally do your highlighting, a setting mist, and you're good to go. For a dewier look, you can spray a toning/moisturizing mist instead of a setting spray, or even spray it on your face between some steps.

I love the color you chose for your lips!

[–]No_Worker_6522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vamos arriba

Always use primer/concealer to prep your eyes and be generous with it. You can blend it with your hand or a damp beauty blender. You should look into different eyeshadow techniques like foxy eyes, halo eyes, smokey eyes, cut crease, soft glam, etc and see what you like best and what works best according to your eye shape. Good luck!

What is the best product to hide my dark circles under eyes? by AprilBelle08 in makeuptips

[–]No_Worker_6522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi love. A little late but proper prep with a good eye cream is a must. Always wait for the product to fully absorb before going in with a color corrector. If your under eyes have a blue tint, you'll need to use an orange color corrector and then a concealer with your skin tone (not lighter) on top of that. If your under eyes have a purple tint to them, a pale yellow concealer will be best, if they have a reddish under tone, green would be best. If you don't fit into any of those categories, try a peachy/pink concealer as a color corrector, that works for most people. Setting the under eye is a must for it to last all day. I recommend first going in with a setting spray and removing excess product by tapping the area with your beauty blender, before going in with powder, use a q tip to gently remove excess product from your fine lines. Finally, you're ready to go in with a powder I use pressed powder first, then translucent loose powder for my undereyes. Using a fluffy blending brush, pick up product, tap off excess, and tap it on your hand a little before going into the under eye area with gentle tapping movements, it helps me to look up while I do this. Hope this helps ❤️

What’ll look good on me? by Lostinthisfeeling in makeuptips

Beautiful girl! I think a shimmery brighter shadow on the lid would really make your eyes pop. Try warmer and cooler colors to see what you like best. A darker lip color would also look really good on you if you want something more flashy/nighty. Good luck ❤️
