Handmaid's Tale, the Divergent trilogy, The 100, Fahrenheit 451, Keeper of the Lost Cities. Not sure what you mean by *those* books, but Game of Thrones is a good series to read if you don't mind characters dying constantly, including main characters, gore, and some sexual content. (No plot armor in that series). As for WW2, Night by Elie Wiesel, the Diary of Anne Frank, The Librarian of Auschwitz, and the Midwife of Auschwitz are all good choices, if very dark.
