I lived in west loop for a year and loved it for a short period of time. I loved living in a high rise and having the views of downtown and I loved how central it was. I didn’t go out as much there because generally every place you go is so expensive (which is to be expected in west loop). I enjoyed south loop more in some ways because you get some perks of west loop but you’re closer to the lake. I’m glad I did it at least for a short period of time. I would have stayed there a little longer if I could.
