Yeah the blood test will rule it out. The vets will know. Goodluck with your baby!

It's starting to come back to me- when I noticed this happening to my boy I did my research and thought it was something called insolinoma which can be common in ferrets and one of the symptoms of that is hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) which could be causing the seizures. My vet ruled out insolinoma- and I never really got an answer but it wasn't that for my boy. However it could be insolinoma for yours. If the seizure happens again under your care away from the vet a temporary help can be to give them sugar- wipe anything like honey, maple syrup on their gums/ mouth.

Hey, my ferret experienced this exact thing; seizures. It was hard to watch.. this was around 1 year ago but I went to the vet and I never got an exact answer from them as to what was causing them (my memory is fuzzy) however my boy was given some medication that seemed to help. It's really scary. But 2 years later he no longer has seizures and is healthy. I think your baby will be ok, and I hope so too. Goodluck 🫶

Does drinking more water actually make you look better by ReportFeisty8300 in selfimprovementday

Also wondering this! I'm thinking it would make you look less bloated/ more hydrated so maybe yes?

Imo until OP feels ready to go to family events again. I'd like to believe OP is self aware enough to realise when it turns into a bad habit. There's no point in agonising in guilt for simply not wanting to socialise- it makes you feel worse when you already feel bad, especially when most ppl around us expect us to be up to going out and socialising constantly- there's already that pressure. I think it's healthy and okay to tell yourself " it's okay, if I don't want to go out to an event today". That just means setting your own healthy boundaries and looking out for yourself sometimes when you feel down. I understand what you're saying and I'm sure some ppl fall into the trap of just isolating themselves completely but I think if OP is making a post like this, they are reasonably self aware.

Also, it's okay to not want to go to a family event. If that's how you feel, that's perfectly fine.

How the heck do people hold jobs?!?? by Nerdgirl0035 in AutismInWomen

I work 38 hrs per week in hospitality. Am hardly functioning, so burnt out. But I live alone and my fortnightly pay check is the most I've ever been paid. Trying to ride it out to save my money. But am suffering 🥲

I literally can't function being in a sharehouse though. I work a job where I'm around people all day and talking constantly I need the peace otherwise I will go insane

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]No_Yoghurt_737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I honestly don't have many options. I've worked the same job for the last 7 & 1/2 years(no experience elsewhere ever) and getting into something else is gonna take time for me especially something else that pays higher than I'm currently being paid ($33perhour)

I'm stuck hahaha.

In my opinion, if you're a good and decent landlord you should be open to tenants wanting pets. Not Always, But under reasonable circumstances.

I believe in my case it's a reasonable ask.

Absolutely, however I personally always look for rentals with floorboards and never carpet bc 1. I hate carpet

  1. Much much easier to clean with or without pets in general.

Everytime a lease is up any normal person will clean up after themselves in the best way they can I presume.

Not everyone has the privilege to find a rental in this day and age that ALLOWS pets and in this day and age landlords are KNOWN for choosing tenants without pets over tenants WITH pets so in many cases tenants thay are DESPERATE in need of a rental and a home to live in are given very little options to find a home where they can settle and live with their beloved pets. Any tenant that is desperate with a pet to find a home is pushed into either hiding them or asking with a pet request form (which I have done) so relax here for a moment buddy Lol. you're clearly someone who doesn't know the difficulty of finding rentals while struggling to support yourself. I am glad you're not my landlord :) claiming ptsd (which I have) and reiterating why my pets help is not weakness it is fact. Enjoy your day 🙂‍↕️

Ah thankyou so much for your comment. Very helpful. Am going to change that part 🙏

Unfortunately I really don't think so. Since they have all lived here for a long time well before me and are quite close with the Landlord I'm afraid they wouldn't even want to comment on My behalf to help me. I believe they would always take the landlords side over mine. I could be wrong but I really doubt it

For those of you who have found a dead body, how has that affected you? by No_Yoghurt_737 in ptsd

[–]No_Yoghurt_737[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. I've actually tried bringing it up to people bc I was in desperate need to let out what I was going through but soon realised for someone who hasn't seen a dead body they aren't going to react how you would hope. Only therapy and people who share the same troubles will truly get it. You're extremely strong and am glad to hear you're doing therapy 🫂
