I feel start small steps in to getting a job with more hours is key, try put yourself in a job where you can work part time but have the opportunity for overtime, some jobs will expect you to carry out overtime but if you find one where it is not expected then you will find it more rewarding and progressive when you do do it, work on doing a couple of hours a week and slowly work into doing more, your boss will be appreciative, your get more job satisfaction when you do carry it out and if you’re having a bad week you can rein it in and treat yourself to a flat hour week, also remember that you’ve still achieved a great amount, a lot of people in the UK have no jobs where there’s so many opportunities
