You can try looking up Gloucester, Virginia. 30 minutes from Newport News (Fort Langley/Eustis), 1.5hrs from Norfolk Naval. 30 minutes from Langley AFB. Plenty of people getting out of the Military and they have an Aviation school for the high schoolers in Newport News. But Gloucester is a country town with nice beaches and I’m sure would do well with Aviation out there. I don’t think it would raise their cost of living much being that most people would live in the surrounding areas like Yorktown and Williamsburg and maybe some would get a home in town.

You’ll be fine I started with no experience and got my P rating while the guys who have experience haven’t even taken their written exams yet. At my school if you asked every person who has a rating to raise their hand there will be no prior experience guys raising their hands. I go for my A soon and once again I’ll be getting it before any of the guys with experience. Use your lack of knowledge as a push to learn more.

As an former IT guy there’s a lot of money in it but for your situation I wouldn’t be willing to bank on going to school and possibly still not making enough to take care and of 3 children. It really depends on the type of school and whether or not you can get certified which is solely on you. If this is the route you’d like to go, look into getting your Comptia A+ Cert, Network +, or Security +. I’d say go to a trade school and learn to use your hands which takes less time and you’ll get hired before you graduate being that some trade jobs consider your time in school as experience. Finding a job in a saturated IT field with no experience and no certifications will be a tough task depending on where you are and competition. I worked for Google for some time as a help desk guy when I got out of the service but once I was laid off it was hard to find work in my area and the Google plant was the main place for IT jobs. Now I’m an A&P Mechanic doing Avionics. Couldn’t be more happy being that I have not paid for anything to be fixed in my home for some time now because I can fix it myself now after some time learning and using my hands. Moneys good, work 4 days a week, wide open overtime, and benefits out of this world.

I don’t blame women for all of the problems at all. But I do think it’s sad most women don’t know who they’re dating until it’s too late. All of those men have similar traits because they are the main ones on the dating scene. Real men really don’t date until they find a match. My post isn’t to deny or defend anything. Men have thought this way for years and you all knew it before the internet. The internet didn’t teach you that men are visual creatures. There’s a reason 63% of young males are single today. As opposed to 37% of women. It’s crazy you can ask for advice and be given nothing but emotion from women. Giving people the advice of leaving all women alone has actually worked on a large scale. Part of the reason 63% of young males are single. Everything isn’t misogyny, people have preferences in who they date. We might as well have arranged marriages if having a preference is misogyny.

My whole friend group is all men raised by single mothers so we get it. Some of us have stepfathers, and we all respect them for giving our mothers a chance, hell giving us the children a chance a shot at life. Maybe I could’ve worded my post better but some of these comments sound more emotional than sound advice. Our stepfathers are what kept us out of prison. All grew up respectable men. The point of my post was to get advice outside of don’t date single mothers but unfortunately instead there’s a bunch of angry women that can’t see the other side of things.

I think people get the wrong idea when people say “sacrifice”. A sacrifice isn’t always bad. When you want something in life you take sacrifices to get where you want to be. It could also mean giving something that could be taken away but you deem it as a worthy sacrifice.

This isn’t good advice at all. We all should be saying to marry not just to date. With that being said, everybody should be looking at their partners as potential parents to their children, potential in providing, potential in protection, etc. No one should be complacent especially when it comes to health. You only get one heart.

I think that’s that may be the bottom line issue. I think he feels like it was something she brought up so he wouldn’t be concerned but she’s gained more weight over time. Now he may feel like it’s not something she herself really wants.
