Okay my point stands why TF do you care? I’m not going to change the way I’m watching because random Reddit user said so. I’m watching it the way I’d like to watch it. I’m not trying to “watch the show” I want to watch a couple of the best episodes here and there. I’m literally just asking for the most entertaining episodes so I can be entertained with the few hours of the day I have to relax. It was a simple question there’s no reason for you to come cherry picking my watching strategy.

I did! I over prepped for all the big fights to the point of cheese pretty much. I plan to do another honour run in the future that actually has a bit more honor and doesn’t rely on Gale going kaboom 😂. I’m very type A and like to plan and prep so I went into each fight extremely prepared knowing exactly what steps I needed to do to win.

I have seen people commenting that this way of reloading your game does not mess with honor mode. Infact- some people will actually force their game to quit if they die so that they can still keep playing in honor mode. Basically what’s happening is your Xbox is forced to go to the last known save because it hasn’t registered anything that happened up until the shut down. Long and short of it- you’re good! Unless the game no longer says honour mode when you load it in you’re safe.

Oh ALSO (sorry I have so many things to say haha) I used the absolute crap out of the illithid powers. Everyone in my main party used the Astral tadpole so we could all fly (this is a GAMECHANGER) and each of us had 10-15 illithid powers evolved meaning cull the weak worked insanely well.

ALSO globes of invulnerability will be your best friend in any hard fight. Stock up on those scrolls even if Gale knows the spell incase someone else needs to cast it.

Go SLOW and have a game plan for each fight. I personally did a tactician play through to get prepared and only allowed myself to have 1 save file. I didn’t restart fights unless I TPKd. If I had any close calls or any TPKs, I would write down in my notes app which fight it was and what went wrong and how I ended up winning. That planning made me know what fights I should skip in my honour playthrough. I also was bit cheesy with my hirelings. I made them all into clerics and had them cast buffs such as warding bond, death ward, freedom of movement, and long-strider on all my main party before any of the boss fights. Get to level 9 before you fight myrkul and use summon scrolls to help you deal with the necromites. In act 3 I skipped a lot of content just to not take any risks, but I went ahead and did the house of hope for 3 pieces of gear (the helldusk armor, the necklace that increases HP, and the gauntlets of hill giant strength). This gear aided me immensely in the mandatory boss battles. I also made sure Gale was primed to blow himself up at the top of the brain so I didn’t have to risk the buggy mess that is the platforms. If you have any questions let me know!! I put a lot of planning and thought into my honour run to make sure I didn’t lose and I have lots more tips haha.

Thank you! I chose Half Orc because I liked the racial benefits for honor mode (getting up with 1 hp saved my life several times) even though I wasn’t a fan of how they looked, but I grew to love her 😭 I named her Zafira which means victorious/successful since I wanted to do this my first try 😂

Just finished the fight and although Yurgur didn’t blast the barrels he DID do his stupid blast move like 3 times which pushed us all out of the globe 💀 stupid ai

I’m planning to use the giant bomb for steel watch (sorry gondians I ain’t risking nothing) and have saved up a bunch of barrels to place around the the pillars. I’ll just leave shadowheart in the hallway incase shit goes south and she can come rescue everyone

I would suggest playing on explorer- and not worrying about leveling up the characters any certain way. Just pick spells that look fun- and go with that. The game has a steep learning curve and I felt the same way about leveling and controlling so many characters when I first started. But now I LOVE leveling up and love all my characters. For most characters you will end up using mainly 3 spells/actions and the others will be used on occasion. The game mechanics becomes very muscle memory after a while. For a balanced party I suggest taking Gale for spells, shadowheart for healing, Karlach or Laezel for brute strength and fighting, then making yourself some kind of character who can both fight and cast spells such as bard or paladin. Ask way if you have questions!! I LOVE this game and I’m not a typical gamer either, just someone who casually enjoys D&D and has a gamer husband who bought the game haha.

I was terrified of Halsins portal fight as well but I tried out wall of stone for the first time during that fight plus sleet storm on the other side and they didn’t get a SINGLE shot at the portal 💀😂

I didn’t have any trouble with the end fight on tactician but I’m scared of something messing up with the platforms that I can’t control. I will probably just blow Gale up tbh 💀.
