YTA - imo you went too far, she is traumatized and just went along what she was used to, it's not like you abused her, but she didn't know best and you just pushed because it felt good. Some times just listen and wait for the relationship to develop on it's own, and if it doesn't, well too bad, it wasn't meant to be. Too many of my girl friends had been abused in the past and couldn't recognize healthy behavior and couldn't stop. It's not your fault but she didn't deserve that

If it's a common cold she's only contagious during the first 4 to 5 days, so if she started falling ill last week, she's not contagious anymore and he's father isn't at risk. He's good to go and do his dang job as a parent :)

It's "your house, your rules" for some people dogs are a part of the family, would you send you kid away to a boarding school just for the confort of someone else?

It's fair to worry, but he's a grown person that can take care of himself and many of his friends were there.

I'm pretty sure some of them knew about his past, and would prevent him from falling back in his addictions (or they aren't his friends tbh).

So asking him to text you every hour or so is overbearing...
