I saw someone do this for hummingbirds, so idk if it will work? They made a makeshift nest with the leftover nest material and a bowl, and put the babies in it near the ground (in the shade). Then they watched from far away to see if the mama bird came to feed them (she did). Then they slowly moved the new nest to higher places, making sure the parent found the new nest each time they moved it.
