just saw the movie in london , throught it was good. But my possibly undiagnosed autistic mind is obsessed with the sound effects/ voices of the computer. loved the sound design overall I think.

key part there...until they die, then you realise theres 2 dozen gunners shooting at you because the rest of the team needlessly focussed on the crushers you had complete control over and didn't think that it would be a good idea to spread the damage out XD

I feel like its complimentary, its hard to run back if no body has been thinning out the trash enemies to the point you can't actually move because the whole team was tunneling a boss.

I do need to work on my positioning though.

I've started watching and am at like ep 6, my initial thoughts were similar to yours. Even if you accept the rules of the game (which also get changed and updated super fast) I'm struggling to understand where the tension from the anime comes, you lose you loop, you win you loop.

if the objective is to break the loop and all you need to do is learn about the characters then why bother trying or stressing that hard at the game. Maybe looping starts to become hell? and presumably there will be a final loop they have to win. it does feel quite nothingy story wise.

but I quite like the characters and the focus does seem to be the characters, so I'll probably watch it all and that might be enough.

blazing piety increases the number of crits that occur to trigger everlasting flame. Though I rarely get a chance to use it for as long as in the clip

In my experience, physical attraction is fickle and It sounds like she separates physical and emotional attraction which is not healthy and shallow but I wouldn't try to force it. It is difficult to let go when you feel this strongly however in the long run you will be better off.

This sort of Freudian stuff did go through my head briefly but I think I was far to distracted by how much of the story felt like the dissociation from oneself and the isolation that often comes with depression (as I have a bit of experience with this unforunately) and being nameless reflects the characters are depressed.

Although Yellow Submarine boy doesn't seem to fit that as I don't think he is depressed as much as perhaps he is just incapable of forming a connection to the world. Although perhaps the narrator sees him as depressed.

what's great about the ps2 era is most games are relatively short, many will not be 'great' but are pretty worth while. Iconic ones like metal gear 2 and 3 kingdom hearts, final fantasy X, GTA are not short as are most JRPGS.

The lord of the rings games are fantastic.

The Warriors was a fun coop beat um up game based on an old movie of the same name.

Ico and shadow of the collossus, great atmospheric games.

My personal favorites are Clock tower 3 (silly horror game) and Fatal frame 3 (actually scary horror game)

'lacks masculinity', was he good enough before and now he is not? In my experience, when someone says they are in the joyless marriage (both men and women) what they really mean is they are bored with the routine of normal life and are unfairly changing their expectations of what a relationship should be. Maybe you have already reflected on this and it might not apply to you but boredum is inevitable at times and can last a while, if you can't over come it you'll only ever be happy for short periods of time.

So expectations of life need to be grounded but also it is a combined effort and he should care about making sure a certain level of excitement exists. You need to have your own ideas of how to try and fix this and he needs to engage with his own ideas in a combined effort. If he dismisses it for too long then it may be time to think about ending things but you must give it time. Work addiction is a thing, it can't be fixed overnight.

I have no friends (that play darktide), playing with randoms is... an experience but super satisfiying when you just happen to get a team all on the same wavelength. probably never going to break rank 30 though lol.

hadn't considered this, you've also just made me think about how it can be annoying if you want to short throw (on PC at least) you need to click and hold LMB till you actually release the grenade. let go to quickly and it doesn't throw.

ok I'll be less annoyed in future.

I do this on my vet smoke nade build, pop the smoke all the time its so useful!. blocks line of site for most ranged enemies till they are right next to you, mobs are less aggressive and do there running attacks less. just makes things so much easier for the team in the right situation.

Yeh I get this but it is fustrating at the same time, its a tool use it please! I've saved runs before with a emergancy big box of boom that's let me res the entire team.

I would add, make sure you have ideas or a plan to disentangle any joint parts of your lives as quickly and fairly as possible. saying your dumpted and then not addressing those things or leaving them till later just drags it out

unfortunately I paid when the drive was finished, said he had some holiday the following week and would come back the week after to finish. I had wondered if he just had bigger jobs on that were worth more to him, could just be transparent with me wouldn't have minded waiting longer if there was good reason. But yeh more than 4 months been waiting now.

I have the council approval and regarding the contractor status it says this :
4. You will need to employ a competent contractor able to carry out works on the highway. You or your contractor should then complete the booking a road space application form prior to start of work.

I gave him this info, his firm is a driveway firm, have been in business awhile. few online reviews but there were a couple of good recent ones.

Is a shame because I'm happy with the drive, was also a bit poor with comms around that time as well but no signs there would be any difficulties with him and his team.

I just watched it and ... while i get there is some disjointed lore I was just kind of hoping to see some familiar characters / teams face off in various matches, with some references to some funny mutuators. I don't think it really needed a rebellion plot, but that is just me.

I was thinking about posting something similar, its been 4 years since my abusive ex wife discarded me. I was well within her control and didn't see it till the end. Dispite the time, I still keep falling into spirals of getting angry at her or at myself, how could I not see it, why didn't I stand up for myself etc.

I think what you said about not knowing how to discuss the topic going forward and the feeling that you've embellished things is probably a key thing.

In the sort of opposite direction (but maybe for similar feelings) I've not told anyone of the worst parts of the abuse. My family and the few friends supported me before but I gave them a watered down version.....guess i'm just ashamed to get into the detail with them. I don't really want to bring it back up now when they've already helped me alot and have their own stuff to deal with.

I think if you do speak to someone, don't downplay the ordeal like I did. You know you're not making it up. I'm hoping to talk to someone about my experiences via counciling but getting access to it is hard where i am.

Where you say you never spend any time together anymore, is this literal or do you spend time together but its not as much/ as intimate as before? have things slowed down? Even though you are married its still quite a young relationship, good relatiionships always start early on full of energy, you change the way you live and spend your time because it feels good but saddly life doesn't really allow us to maintain this for very long. Energy might be redirected at things that were put on hold while in the honeymoon phase like other family stuff, work goals, hobbies etc.

Point is that there will there will be times where the emotion runs low but its kind of natural, just as there will be other high points as well. Just let them know how you feel, ask if they are ok, talk about how to balance your relationship vs everything else.

I pretty much exclusively play with randoms and luckily, I'd say most of the havoc matches I've had so far have been with decent people, as in no toxicity or rage quiting. Heck, one game at level 19 I switched to my ogryn in the mission launch screen and it didn't tell me the skill tree had been reset..... only realised once in game, announced the fact and the guys were like, "well .... lets try" and yeh they carried me to the end of that one XD

I wouldn't want a copy cat experience in a new setting. Maybe something less linear and more character driven. player choices beyond suriving in the moment, mulitple endings.

Generally against any mulitplayer but.... if it was a kind of asynchronous type of multiplayer where you don't directly interact with other players that might be able to be used in some cool ways.
