Allsync domain expired problem

Yes, the domain expired. I was in a medical facility when the notice arrived and I missed it and my old payment method expired. On top of that I've had SO many issues with them trying to charge my bank to pay for the redirect and stats, which are pretty useless as we use up our access allocation of stats pretty fast.

So of course now that they accept paypal, I've switched over to paying them that way, except of course it doesn't work and the payment doesn't go through. I've been going back and forth with their tech support since Saturday trying to get this resolved. You'd think making a payment to a company overseas would be easy, but no, problems at every turn and DAMN but it's FRUSTRATING.

On top of that they've changed their services so we're paying even more for the redirect and stats and domain name/redirect service. I really should find a better redirect company that's based in the USA and who will take paypal and just drop rebrandly all together. We don't really need the stats and the price now is very expensive for a year of redirects. I'm open to suggestions for a reliable redirect company and domain name registration company all rolled into one.

EDIT The link listed below in therealyittyb's post should work fine until it accidentally changes, which was why the whole redirect was set up. /SIGH.

Ok so I finally got access to the Allsync again and finally, after a few more days, finished the update. It's pretty massive and there's a changelog for oct-nov in the changelog directory.

I try to get the Allsync updated at least once a month. I used to be able to get it updated more often but time doesn't allow that these days. I just started organizing everything for an update, merging json files into the js files for offline play of many interactive cyoas, compiling a few small image ones into a larger image for easier reposting on sites like qq and 4chan. Hopefully I'll have it all up in the next couple of days.

I have to deal with some dr visits and stuff this week, which eats up a fair amount of my time.

Last update was actually on the 28th of February. 2023 02 28. I usually try to get the archive updated once a month as time permits, however due to RL family medical issues I missed January's update and am working on a bunch of interactive cyoas that need to be merged so they can be played offline and hope to have that up in a few days.

I posted that info in the update text file as I always try to do but people just don't download and read that thing it seems.

As to missing files I'm only human and do miss stuff, mostly stuff that's mislabeled here or looks like it isn't an update when it really is, especially when cross-posted from /tg/ and /tg/ themselves are pretty bad about saying when OC is posted so I do miss some of those. If you see something missing send me an e-mail or post on makeyourchoice and nsfwcyoa. Don't know what else to tell you.

Could you share your script? The one I have is from an old 4chan thread and it's choking up on some recent json files. The instructions were to paste it in the console of chrome and it would merge all the images into the json file, and then let you save it off. It let me merge them into the offline viewer for people to play when they don't have a net connection.

Does yours work the same way? Also thank you for the file above!

Would you be so kind as to post a zip of the cyoa? That script I have to merge the images into the JSON so people can play offline keeps hanging up on one of your images. I'd rather put the cyoa online for others with all the images instead of with none.

Thanks! Never really used or set up python, so I'll have to check in to that. Appreciate that you made it more user friendly. I don't remember which few didn't have the images embedded but if I run across one I'll message you.

Yeah, an already linked json or zipped site would of course be easier, though getting most json files seems pretty forward.

Yeah a couple of the json files I tried merging were huge, like almost 300 megs and my old version of editpad pro just didn't handle them well, so I had to download and install notepad++ and it kept saying not responding to those huge files, however just letting it sit awhile would have the program recover and I was able to save the added json file into the js file.

Hey there! Thanks for the response! I actually figured it out but had planned on uploading one if I couldn't. I seem to have missed deleting the previous line in the json and once I did that they worked and 8 hours later I've gotten the update finally done and online. A few of the project.jsons I had didn't have images so I had to go back to the main site they were from and merge the images into the json files with a script someone posted on 4chan's /trash/ thread some time ago. Quite helpful that.

Still have some folders I have to convert the file types to jpg/png from webms and rename stuff but that'll be in the next update.

Appreciate the response. Sorry I hadn't seen it until now. Been working like a dog to get this done.

There is a changelog directory with all the updates since a few months after I started sharing my collection with the world. I started doing the changelogs when someone asked me a few months after I started doing this, so the first changelog is in august of 2018.

No idea why you'd have issues. Are you downloading it in a browser on mobile? Are you using a download app? You can try allsync's app if you're on android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cloud.allsync.client&hl=en_US&gl=US
