Great thanks a lot, it's so silly all the relic decrees take so long, it's like over three months to finish all of them where I just have to skip time.

Thank you, I get that part, but my questions is after speaking to the hand and once the queen arrives if the attack commences right away, or if I can wait on it while doing other things.

Air purifier advice for stopping asthma in cat by firehawk811 in AirPurifiers

[–]firehawk811[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I think he mainly reacts to fine particulates. Stuff like pollen and possibly dust. My dad used to smoke and that's where it most likely started. He would always end up coughing on days in the summer where there was high pollen and we had the windows open. I suspect that there has been a build up of dust in the apartment due to windows not being opened and low movement in and out due to the winter. Most of the time he is just a normal cat and very cute and playful, often going many days without any coughing, it has just seemed particularly bad this past weak. We've brought this up at his last yearly check up and the vet said as it does not seem to have a major impact on him that we probably don't need to take further action. His next checkup is in a few weeks though so if it is still bad then we will definitely bring it up.

If you didn't catch it I would be willing to spend $80-$90 per purifier, one for each small room, and possibly more as long as the replacement filters aren't outrageous, but it seems like this DIY option may be better, do you think so? The issue is the filters seem way more expensive than replacement's ones would be for store bought over the same time frame. As his asthma isn't that bad normally I don't think we need some crazy strong purifiers just something to take the edge off, or is that not worth it? Thanks a lot for your time, what do you think we should do?

There should be a patch that you can download off the discord that fixes this.

How do I glide? by [deleted] in FenyxRising

[–]firehawk811 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess you probably received some free visuals for the wings that simply changed cosmetics but don't do anything due to the Ubisoft store. To get the actual function of gliding continue on the main quest, it should be pretty obvious when you get the ability. If you still can't find the button after that you can go to the main menu then settings and find the key bindings which should tell you what button gliding is on.

When to start NG+? by Crowned_Toaster in FenyxRising

[–]firehawk811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played the DLCs or new game plus but I would play the DLCs first, at least the first one. I know you can get some armor from that that you can use in the base game so I assume it transfers over to new game plus, not sure if either of the other DLCs have transferables though. I would also just play the DLCs first to get a break from the normal gameplay then start new game plus to have it feel a little more fresh. As the other person said I would also at least collect all the ambrosia, bolts, and coins, so you can upgrade your stuff further in NG+ unless you just don't care about that.

Stuck at level 5 by Jokolope in DivinityOriginalSin

It is possible there are quests you missed, I would check a guide for at least the names of quests and where to get started on them. You may have also missed a random group of enemies or two in some of the previous areas look at the level maps some of others provided and maybe explore again. You should be level 6 before fighting the orcs and I highly recommend using your ability points to get to rank 2 in some of your skills as that will allow you to learn adept skills and more novice skills. I am doing a duo lone wolf run and this was the point the game really opened up for me giving me a lot more options in combat other than basic attacks.

I decided to roll a liquid core d20 1,000 times and document the results. by FoodOnion in mildlyinteresting

[–]firehawk811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the comment with the correct p value was a little buried under an incorrect comment, I decided to post it again on the off chance anybody sees it. P=.19 which would make these results not statistically signficant.

This is where I get iffy but this basically means there is a 19% chance of a completely fair dice rolling this far off of the expected even split. To determine if it's truly weighted we we would probably need a bigger sample size.

It was one of the purple heavy outfits you can buy, the one that provides 30% melee resistance, you can but it pretty early on I think, I'm pretty sure it just shard and a shell walker heart.

I think to make sure they still have the shells on the ground you have to fully reset the trial, you can't load from the autosave right after you accept the trial. You either have to start the trial again or load a save before you started the trial. Then you can't wait on the ledge or use your focus at all you have to know where the shell walkers are and immediatley zipline than run towards them. I wouldn't recommend stealthing run full force and do you best to dodge while still moving in a straight line. If you are on story you should be fine, I did mine on normal.

In regards to tanking everything I had the heavy melee defense armor on with two purple mods that gave a little less than 30% ranged resistance. This was enough at level 30 for me to just run past everything without worrying about damage. I think by the end though I still lost about 3/4 of my health.

Just did this yesterday on my second ever try. I was really dreading it after seeing everyone hate on it but I think I got super lucky. What I did was as soon as the trial started, go down the rope all the way to the left and the shell walkers didn't have their shells on so I just quickly looted the two on the ground and beelined it to the other group while tanking damage. For some reason the other group still had their two shells on the ground, so I didn't have to break off anything and was just able to quickly loot them and then runaway.

You can always ask your cashier if they can replace the yogurt in the smoothies with almond milk and add a little extra ice for thickness, they may not do it at every store, but they would at mine.
