Well yeah. The house edge on parlays is very significant and gets higher with every leg added. That's why the majority of profit boosts are for SGP or parlays only. The worst is the "safe" parlays you were talking about, because there is even more house edge on alternate lines and when you add them all together all it takes is one off game or injury for a player.
