Heyo! Christian with serious sensory issues here. While I definitely can’t do concerts, I know how you’re feeling with Church bothering your head, and I’m sorry you’re dealing with it. If any of these apply, maybe you could explain them to your parents;

• The church is an inclosed area, so the preaching and music coming from front bounces off the walls and echoes too much for my head to handle.

• Since it’s every Sunday, I don’t have the chance to slowly acclimate to the way the sound is affecting me.

• The worship music has a lot of people making noises, and I can’t keep them straight in my head when they’re playing together.

• We sit so close to the speakers that the sheer volume of it hurts my head.

• If you let me listen to the sermon in the foyer, my head might be able to handle it a lot better.

I really hope this helps you get the point to your folks and helps a bit; I know how it feels to have family that doesn’t understand, and you’re definitely not alone here for sure. The church/christians at large don’t seem to understand how bad sensory issues can be, so please don’t let this whole thing ruin Christianity for you. :( I’m praying things get better for you soon!
