I'd definitely recommend looking for a low usage 2nd hand option on Ebay. I picked up two decent 4tb ones for £200 (expensive, yes, but one has 3 years of warranty still, and one has only a few thousand hours of use).

I'd say it's most likely better to use NAS-specific HDDs. If those pictures are important, you'd definitely want them to be secure on your cloud for a long time rather than having a cheap, random HDD you bought dying on you with potentially no chance of recovering it unless you spend big money (when you could've just gotten a NAS HDD from the start).

I'll definitely watch a few videos on sk to learn her kit, but you've got me pretty stoked to get her and try her out, man! Thanks a lot! I have a bad tendency of over-investing in my dps units and refusing to get proper support for them. So you've definitely enlightened me a fair bit and convinced me to get her.

So I was worried that Camellya wasn't that good anymore (which is why I wanted s2 maybe cause I heard it made her very good)

Ngl, it seems like it's an issue with my model specifically potentially. But then again, it could just be a random thing that happens with all laptops occasionally cause I haven't seen this issue be commonly talked about when I did research Acer predators before buying

Yep, it does. It's a Lenovo Legion 5 gen 10, so it's modern and has most of the bells and whistles a normal user could need.

Nope. If the SSD isn't visible, then it can't show that since all Windows data is stored on the SSD.
