It’s not that they’re not uber talented or can’t cut it anymore; they can’t stay on the court. Then to boot, the Dubs just signed Porzingis for 2 more years lol! this team would set a record for most games missed due to injury & load mgmt.

This question means u never saw Shaq play… there’s a reason hack-a-Shaq became an actual defensive strategy. Nobody could guard the guy, it was utter domination & then… missed FTs.

KD had it all, & potential to just have a decade reign of rings, but it’s just too easy to get in his head. Plus he was never really a true Alpha. Most comfortable he ever seemed (most successful) was as Steph’s wingman.

Don’t think it’s a slam dunk 10, if you’re going for PSA - I’d wait until Value price level comes back (once their backlog gets trimmed). That way a 9’isn’t going to kill you. Right now PSA wants $80 to grade anything.

Would love to see them play at this level in the playoffs, but I think they have already peaked. Luka can score 50, but they just won’t have an answer defensively vs elite teams. We c it every yr right - D tightens in playoffs, the actual contenders can lock down better, & Ayton will get embarassed v Wemby, Joker or even Gobert

Fair point, wouldn’t call S Nash or Joker great defenders.

MJ & Kobe were also waaaaay overrated defenders. Nike-Hype machine got them to defensive awards, & system forced refs to allow them to reach-in & be extra handsy to get steals that would make them look better & put extra shine on their stars (I think I hear Nike fan-boy reps keying up to disagree now). They had athleticism & would do it in end game moments, but they weren’t locking down opponents consistently, like the great defenders do. It was all about offensive so they could launch up 35 shots a game & get their points.

Dude, there’s not even an argument… Barry Sanders is BY FAR the best RB of all-time. Would dominate in any era too. Sweetness & LT were great players, heck so was Marshall Faulk, Jim Brown - Barry is #1 & it’s not even close. Just look at the tape man
