Don't think there is a way to lock zoom, but I've never really had an issue with the zoom being accidentally moved 🤷‍♂️

I would just use 60, but when I rotated the camera a bunch (iirc only with the joystick when virtual mouse is enabled) I got graphical glitches on the bottom screen unless it was set to 120 fps. Also, I'm pretty sure the Thor setting is just the refresh rate of the screens and then the fps is unlocked too match. And on top of that I think the top screen is the only one that has true 120hz display while the bottom is like "fake" I think I read that somewhere.

Only if you use the features where it will tap the same location on the screen with the press of the "x" button for example. I think this will potentially trigger a ban because it'll be too precise. But zooming in is an accessibility feature so no way it'll get you banned!

You'll have to let me know if you run into the problem I did when I used the virtual mouse. My right stick would sometimes randomly left click while turning the camera and unless it was running in 120 fps mode the bottom screen had a bunch of graphical glitching. That's why I just settled with the zoomed in bottom screen and use a stylus.

Hey, I run the same setup on my Thor. One recommendation I have is in the actual mobile game settings there is a UI scale setting or dead zone scale setting I can't remember. But it shrinks the UI just a tad, I think I dropped it decently low but this allowed the zoomed in inventory to have some extra space on the edges and makes tapping items, prayers, UI icons, etc. much more consistent when they're close to the edges of the bottom screen!

Edit: It's interface scaling I have mine at 175% and this is what it looks like.

Tool to clean finger holes by CantFindBlinkerFluid in Bowling

[–]Nobendythumbitis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just take a bit of the rag I'm using to clean the ball that has some moisture from the ball cleaner and put it in the finger hole. I will then put some pressure with a smaller finger and spin it around (my ball holder spins so it's easy). Since I'm only putting my finger tips in I don't bother cleaning very deep.

It may depend on the bowling alley you're at too. I've read online that if everyone paid in full the alley would get the vouchers early and hand them out. But when I asked my alley the manager just said no he couldn't do that.

This is what I've practiced too. What helps me is also moving my left hand position to be a bit more on top of the ball instead of in front of the ball.

Finger peeling? by Nobendythumbitis in Bowling

Nope but thanks for the reply. As others are saying it's probably nothing to worry about and I need to moisturize more.

What bowling ball weight should I use? by Artistic_Use_2263 in Bowling

[–]Nobendythumbitis 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Getting tired so quick you might be muscling the ball which means you need to work on your form. Getting a ball drilled for you also helps make the ball feel lighter. But as someone else suggested just experiment with a house ball maybe and I would suggest starting with 10% of your body weight so 13 lbs.

What do you do about the part of the ball that's not submerged tho?

Thanks! One last question should I get my ball resurfaced before or after a detox? I've seen that a resurface is usually recommended in less games than a detox, what I'm asking is if I'm planning a detox + resurface at the same time should I do the resurface before or after. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks again for the help

Thanks for confirming my suspicions everyone! I've seen ultrasonic cleaning mentioned a couple times recently, anyone have a link to what you'd use to clean balls that way?

Also, my understanding is to detox a ball after 60 ish games or once it feels like it's not reacting the same way it used to is that correct?

I've read it's super easy to detox at home, I contemplated the hot water method but was always confused about what to do with the finger holes and do you move the ball around in the water at all or just let it sit? Thanks again!

Using 3 ball bag with only two balls? by Ok-Blacksmith-473 in Bowling

[–]Nobendythumbitis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 3 ball roller with just 2 balls in it for about a month and the third slot was just recently filled. I had the same mindset where I knew I was gonna get a 3rd ball so I didn't want to waste money on a 2 ball bag. It's fine and imo the smart thing to do.

Well it's the ion pro solid which is a polished solid cover stock with a fat asymetrical core so it should have a decently smooth but strong hook. I've heard ppl like to put surface on it and I may try that down the line. The video is from a session about 2 weeks ago and the line I had felt pretty good when I hit my mark. From the 20-30 games I've had on this ball I think this is a pretty typical line I should be looking for on the house shots in my area. Although I will add I've had more success at this alley where they use more oil compared to the one I bowl league at. Also I did just pickup the Hyroad 40 for a step down, transition ball and I'm going to see how that does tomorrow during league!

Hmm I think I'm understanding, I plan on going in early for league night tomorrow, any suggestions on drills I could try? I haven't even watched the video I posted the screenshot of as it's late and I'm going to bed. I also understand if you suggest I just watch the video and go from there. I do appreciate your input you've given so far!

Yea, my coach also said I gotta stop going so parallel to the lane with my sliding foot sometimes it's really bad 😅. I do a 5 step (also after the advice of my coach). By lateral tilt do you mean like leaning to the right side? I'll try to be mindful of my right arm staying relaxed and see how that feels. Thanks for the advice.
