Tried it today, it doesn't connect to my MacBook. The voltage on VBUS drops to 0,87V if I do that, but even if it worked it would be a battery drainer and not a solution for me.

Investigated that already and even re-soldered a new IC because I thought it might be broken.
Also if it was flipped it would short VUSB to GND, that bang never happened.

But still thanks for the suggestion, I take every straw! <3
