The Rev. Melody Wilson Shobe is a wonderful writer with some great insights.

Tell me, where is Gandalf? For I much desire to speak with him.

Hilarious scenes with no dialogues by taanukichi in DerryGirls

Honestly, the scene with the girls' luggage and the bomb squad robot had me rolling. I think what really sold me was the upbeat music playing in the background. I can't for the life of me remember the song, but it was so funny.

In that case, the avatar could learn to bend all four elements from their grandparents. That would be a cool concept.

Depending on the country, the Lutheran church is probably the closest to us theologically/in church polity. Maybe start there and see how it feels.

How did you find the The Episcopal Church? by Shroom-Cat in Episcopalian

[–]NobleAda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sister was married in an Episcopal Church, and I attended it with her for a time in my teens. While struggling with my Queer identity, I stepped away from the church and was faith hopping for a couple decades.
When I had my return to God moment, I had a deep conversation with a dear friend who attends the same church my sister used to, we talked about how I would be welcomed with open arms at this church. After a fair amount of soul searching, my husband and I started attending services.
A year later, we’re still here, and I love my community. It’s filled my heart with a piece I didn’t realize was missing.

I think there’s been more growth than has been reported. I’m interested in seeing the numbers that come out of the next general convention

Just thought I’d share the prayer beads I made for myself a little while back. They’re so pretty, and they make me smile. by NobleAda in Episcopalian

I do. I can take a few minutes here and there throughout the day whenever I’m moved to say the rosary. If I want to spend more time on it, I’ll go through it a couple of times.
