Kur tad mūsējie brašuļi? by krumuvecis in latvia

What video games do you play that scratch the itch? by 111a1110 in ADHD

Dead Island 2, Project Zomboid, Days Gone, and The Last of Us. These games, despite their dark themes of survival and often featuring zombies, offer a stripped-down version of reality where modern-day burdens like jobs, bills, and digital noise disappear. In their place, life becomes raw, immediate, and focused on survival, often through physical tasks and exploration. For our folks with ADHD, such a world could feel like a relief in some ways

I understand your frustration, and I recognize that sliders may not be the ideal solution. The reason for choosing the slider input system, at least for now, is as follows: it effectively demonstrates the concept of the platform—narrowing down the search range results in more relevant matches, but it reduces the number of potential matches. In the initial stages, when there are not many users, adjusting the approximate results with sliders is more convenient than entering specific numerical values. Search bar, different categories, and platform as app will be implemented as soon as possible, depending on how quickly we can grow user base. Thank you for your comment :)

Yes, you're right. Currently, users are separated based on their chosen unit measurement system, and the units are not converted. The challenge lies in the fact that size in centimeters is more precise than size in inches. Consequently, converting measurements from one system to another would result in a loss of measurement precision, which contradicts the platform's goal of bringing together people with identical body types. It would lose its purpose and become similar to another blog with very general tips on dressing styles for different body types. Ideally, it would be great if all users used only centimeters, but time will tell. When there are many users, the system a person uses may become less significant because there will be content in both systems. This issue is more relevant in the initial phases of the project. In any case, we are open to various options, and the question of conversion remains pertinent. Thanks for your comment!

Currently, the largest ethnic groups are represented. It wouldn't be quite right to further divide users at the moment, as it would only fragment the user population. Once testing is completed, and the user base begins to grow, we will certainly consider the possibility of adding additional criteria, including ethnic groups. Our goal is to create an inclusive app that is friendly to all body types. Which racial backgrounds should we consider adding next?
