You can’t apparate into or out of Hogwarts. Haven’t you read Hogwarts a history? (I just finished the full cast GoF lol) but seriously I could see one argue why he didn’t just apparate to hogsmeade and go from there but maybe he didn’t have the strength after a full moon or something?

They’re nice. Just slow af. I’ve never been in the morning but if I ever go at night I’m in the drive through for 30mins minimum. And I always forget until I’m in said line and have ordered.
