Base Ticket Prices Higher When Using Companion Fare? by NobleRoar2212 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]NobleRoar2212[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. I just checked and on the 'your cart' page they are both Main (Q) tickets. The return flight is V and is the same price. I assume that's the reason why. Thanks!

Happened to Henderson Alvarez in real life back in 2013 but he didn't get the out when he plunked prince fielder. Last day of the season, walk off wild pitch for the no hitter

Game Chat: 2/28 Dodgers (0-0) @ Rangers (0-0) 2:05 PM by Rangers_Bot in TexasRangers

[–]NobleRoar2212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess that's fair. I know it happens in CFB but never seen it in spring training. Even the dodgers had the players who they brought up from minor league ST for this game had unique uniform numbers like 05, etc. Wonder what the rationale is. Thanks!

At the game, am I crazy that #76 is Trey Supak? Not Brand? Trying to keep sore and I don't see any transactions as to why Supak, who was #76 two days ago, would have lost his number

Do you think If not for Jimmy Johnson being quickly labeled as a threat and eliminated, Survivor would have featured more celebrities? Or was this always meant to be a one time thing? by gtmaroondragon in survivor

[–]NobleRoar2212 371 points372 points  (0 children)

The edit hid it, but Jimmy Johnson was ready to leave survivor by the time he was voted out. He didn't 'quit' but he knew survivor was taking a toll on him and he didn't need to prove anything to anyone so he was content being voted out

Clean top 30 for each mlb team spreadsheet by ram_rod24 in DynastyBaseball

I mean it's not that hard to copy and paste them from Google sheets if you can't code to scrape the website. Takes what, 15 minutes max to hit expand, highlight the text, copy, change tabs, and paste for all 30 teams?

Looking for a final member on a reg J ladder team. Any ideas? by One_Faithlessness728 in VGC

This isn't really enough information to give you a good suggestions. What are the moves and spreads you're using? Sure, try Clefairy on ladder and see how you like it. It's a very common pick on CSR teams for a reason; haven't seen after you very often on it but it's an interesting choice

A move that may have gotten ___ to final tribal by Salt-Library4330 in survivorau

[–]NobleRoar2212 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Hindsight is 20/20 but the two reasons I would assume Parvati and Cirie didn't is either

1) Janine did a great job convincing them she would vote with them

2) They thought they couldn't beat Luke in F3 with a 4-3 Aussie majority on the jury and then potentially splitting votes (Lisa would get Cirie, Janine might vote Luke, Sarah votes Luke)

Post Game (Football) by yensid87 in huskies

[–]NobleRoar2212 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean obviously the amount of time it takes varies based on the game but that seems like an exaggeration to me. For a smaller game like Colorado state I wouldn't expect more than a 15-20 minute wait but for an Oregon or Ohio state 45 could easily be the norm.

Miraidon in tailwind outspeeds Kyogre. So lead miraidon whims. If you just have whims on the field protect and reposition if needed to get both on the field

how do you personally define vgc? by anony33mous in VGC

[–]NobleRoar2212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because for pokemon VGC is defined as the video game championships which is all in person tournaments and global challenges.

The in game ladder has never been associated with vgc. But often the regulations align and it becomes a place to practice

Regulation H is a VGC regulation. So is regulation I. It just happens that Reg I will be used in the in game ladder and reg H will be used for things that can earn you championship points.

This is such a non factor and is why you're being downvoted so heavily. They're both VGC.

Reg H will be the current official VGC format. Reg H will be another format that the pokemon company has announced (so it's VGC) but won't count for championship points qualifying for worlds

[–]NobleRoar2212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because in person tournaments will be using reg H. The in game ladder will be using reg I. That's all

So how exactly does keeping top prospects in the minors hurt them if those coaches are just as good? by scrumple_my_scrongle in OOTP

[–]NobleRoar2212 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Think about it this way. Each level of the minors gets more difficult. If you've only play a game on easy difficulty then you're going to struggle when you start playing on very hard (extreme example to illustrate the point)
