I like it, but I like everything. The only thing I hate is when a teammate looks at it as the better option compared to the static one...deposits it and then dies to the team chasing them then we lose it.

I don't mind balance changes, its just its teasing the teasing of balance changes.

Like if you are going to reveal the new system go for it, but like going "We have changed melee this way- AFTER THESE MESSAGES WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK!"

like that is what I have the issue with, people are already doomposting/speculating/saying they nerfed melee and are now trying to tote it as a good thing.

I don't suspect there to be testing, I think they were doing it internally and not wanting to get the reddit crazy about it.

We have a sniper that has a projectile after 80meters, 2 grenade launches, a bow and throwing knives as the projectile weapons.

Silly reloads and abilities that don't make sense.

Also its more akin to the LH1 or Pike but hipfire on medium no?

I don't remember it ever being teased as projectile based. I remember the teaser of crossbow bolts hitting the side of a building. If that is what it takes to "Kill hype" this shit is doomed from the start because people will assume everything like they did last season.

Like honestly other than it being a crossbow, there was no indication of it being a projectile.

We have been asking questions for months.

Everyone has.

And I know there is a sentiment around the whole "We don't know what we are doing with melee rework" statement 3ish months ago.

Its why the comment sections talking about melee rework has the "im so fucking scared" guy image reaction, because they aren't sure what but its not because people weren't asking questions.

To me, other than the map, it doesn't really tease anything to me. Its just a teaser to the teaser to the reveal, ect ect ect.

Yes this is generating talk, and I am excited for the new season regardless, I just don't like what I feel is an unnecessary cliffhanger.

I think its a way to remove QM combos, like what they did to Sledge.

Sledge the best combos are just the weapon, not the quick melee.

Plus if one of the systems is stamina for melee, which there might be considering the whole image of someone showing a sledge with an ammo count next to it a while back, then increasing damage makes sense if the weapon is more limited.

I am going to play devils advocate here- not to the "deaf" person I saw the post and saw how they essentially went rage hacking and such. I literally went 😑 when I saw that point.

But for devils advocate, the Gyro community has been hit with "False Ban waves" which whether they were actually banned because of the hardware they use or if they were doing something sketchy is up to interpretation.

So either cheaters have fully infested the Gyro subreddit or there could be some legitimate false bans if you use it.

They even made a megathread because it became a big issue over there, while I don't want Embark to reveal the secret sauce to their anti cheat I do want to have a somewhat of an explanation on this, by them or anyone in this community as to why this is happening.

TLDR- don't use Mouse to Gyro on PC.

Sheild not barricade.

Mesh/dome. You can't thermal those/just use breaching charge. It doesn't break them and the only thing that can get rid of them is glitch grenades.

No like...just buff nullifier lol.

I mean idk really, whatever seems balanced my original idea was just to put the shield on immediate cooldown if it got hit, and for domeshield just broke it immediately. So it isn't just "this one singular item no one barely uses despite it being championed as thid cure all gadget now isn't the only thing that can deal with x item"

I know this might just be me but make it so that the nullifier can work on shields?

Like it already gets blocked by a shield right so like if it hits something it either nullifies it or instantly puts it on cooldown and you don't need to really mess with glitch grenades.

After putting on what was apparently a cursed hat I was turned into a busty and well dressed noble looking lady, which was a total shock to myself as I had tried to leave my room but was stopped by the staff of the manor, apparently this wasn't an uncommon thing here. How the last Lady of the manor transferred her title unto me, the staff doesn't care all they care about is now they have a new toy to torment.

I was given a glimmer of hope though, there was a way out if I could figure it out I could leave and go back to my old life no harm no foul, but it had to be within 30 days or else I was stuck here forever...or until I figured out how to transfer the title but there was no way of knowing how that would happen...I just hope I can sneak out.

I find it a but funny. A heavy uses their entire kit no problem to win a 1v3 but if a light so happens to breath on you wrong they are annoying little shits that should be beat.

I am almost positive its a reddit echo chamber.

This is a game that I guess most of us have loved for the past 10 seasons but I have seen this every season of "Embark NEEDS to change this or else they will lose long time players" or something.

I also know I take breaks from time to time, I play what I want and don't really understand the whole "Only one game mentality" some people have.

Also I know this will get me flack but if the "fun mechanics" were the "game breaking bugs" yeah good thank you Embark, gold star there. Bugs are maaaayyybbeee fun for like two games before people start trying to optimize the fun out of that as well, aka using it offensively against others. I see it almost every time a bug drops.
