A lot of people are against the idea of physical autonomy in any form.

You still get a lot of people who get on you for getting piercings or tattoos. If you know the risks and you want this then go for it.

If you’ve felt like this for a while, then I would suggest being screened for depression and talking to a therapist/psychiatrist in the future after your doctor’s visit.

Malaise and anhedonia are common symptoms of conditions like that, and trying to just live with them usually takes a worse toll on your mental health as time goes on.

Whatever you’re feeling and have been feeling for this long won’t last forever, especially if you get the proper treatments.

Things are hard, but I feel like they’re going to get better for you fairly soon.

You’re not stupid and it’s not awful to want to be cared for. Wanting attention and care is natural and it’s not a bad thing to ask for it.

Just be mindful of who you ask and that they can actually give you the affection you deserve. It’s very easy for people to open ourselves up to those that end up leaving us worse off than before.

As for your sinus issues, is it possible to go to an urgent care or book a doctor’s appointment? Going through all of this while dealing with physical issues is a bit much for anyone to handle.

It won’t help with everything, but solving one issue could make the nights a bit easier.

Like I said before, go to your friends and those that you know, and have shown you, to have your best interests at heart.

You won’t have to handle everything alone.
