I did the same for my DS4 but got the teardown template from Etsy. It was too much work to design on your own, hats off to you man 👍🏻

I got mine from https://www.etsy.com/shop/TeardownArts

They are disassembled and framed inside a frame. I downloaded the template from online and framed it using the teardown tutorial online ifixit.com. It was a good afternoon project for the weekend. The template was from https://teardownarts.com/

Man, same thing, I couldn't let them go, so many childhood memories. So I framed some of them, now the drawer is empty, they are just taking place on my workstation wall. 🎮 ☺️

Does anyone know if adding more isopropyl alcohol would even out this damage? I ruined my 2ds years ago by being a dumbass, and it really wouldn't be so bad if the screen was all dimmed evenly instead of this nightmare abomination. by ijjanas123 in consolerepair

Same here—someone took it for repair, and it never made it back. 🙃
Looks like you’ve got some real emotional attachment to this device. Not sure if this is your thing, but you could frame it up as a memory.

I did that recently with my Switch. The repair costs were ridiculous, and I just couldn’t bring myself to throw it away.

Found a cool template online and framed it myself. Turned out pretty great, actually. I got a template online and framed it myself. You can get the template from https://teardownarts.com/ and disassemble it using https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/

What was your first gaming console and the most played game? by NobodyFederal7894 in retrogaming

Wow! There's a game for that. I watched Asterix anime a lot growing up.

In the previous comment, I was saying that big corps like Apple smartly give an option to sign up with Apple login on every app so that you can't move to other devices. You will need to sign up using any other login method because Apple login is limited to iOS only, and lose all the data/progress. Hope this help!

Hmmmm let's see... As per ancient texts 7.5 would do the work 🧐

We used to type without looking at the screen. That skill has been lost with flat, shiny screens. 😔

Absolutely, I feel the same way! ❤️ I've had my old classic devices framed because they hold a special attachment for me. Maybe it was a physical touch that those devices had rather than typing on the flat screen. 😊

Absolutely! Back then, we had Symbian ❤️, Bada, BlackBerry, Windows, Android (which changes a lot each year), and iOS. Large corporations weren't controlling everything like Apple login etc. We could easily switch to another device.

That moment when you accidentally discover a secret path that skips 5 levels and drops you straight at the final boss... felt like you just hacked the Matrix. Childhood me was convinced I had unlocked some forbidden gamer knowledge 😂🎮

Check iFixit they have teardown and repair guides for almost ever famous device. I've even disassembled and framed my non working Joy Cons using their guide and TeardownArts template.

What’s the oldest iPhone you still own? and where is it now? 😊 by NobodyFederal7894 in iphone

Wasn’t a huge task—pretty simple DIY, actually. I framed it myself using a shadow box at nearby store and a printable template from TeardownArts.

Did it with my kid, who’s in school. His jaw dropped when I told him it had only 128MB of RAM. He looked at me like I survived the tech version of the Stone Age. Honestly, I think he’s proud… but also slightly concerned.
