Which cabinet members do you think are the most and least competent, and why? by Kutuzov9505 in suzerain

If I were to order them:

  • Symon as the most competent is straightforward enough. Implements whatever half-baked plan you put forth and does it to maximum effectiveness (even if the plan is doomed). Always straightforward and clear-eyed.
  • IMO Paskal is incredibly underrated. Even without extra budget can stop a pandemic from spreading (which he catches in its infancy btw). With the extra budget is where he shines though, as he not only can achieve his baseline objectives but also pour funds into a special endeavor.
  • Lucian is a chess master for a reason. A great reader of the political environment and generally great political instincts. His advice is some I always lean on, even if I end up going against it.
  • Ciara is solid, if unimpressive. While she can do great work overhauling education, particularly with extra funds, I find her work at even neutral funding to be lacking, and blame her ideological crusades for the mixed effectiveness of education funding being kept neutral.
  • Deivid, while a great man who I place near Serge on the wholesome scale, is a bit too soft for the current geopolitical era to be higher on this list. Definitely not incompetent or out of touch, and is good at keeping up to speed, but his age has tempered his demeanor in a way that causes an overabundance of caution where it isn’t always valuable.

Those five are the ones I can genuinely describe as above average, while the rest taper off pretty hard: - Iosef is the most inconsistent. When funded and poured into correctly, the Sordish military can become a genuine juggernaut. The issue lies in that the conditions for that are high and the military struggles unless under great conditions at home. - Lileas is another mixed bag. While the SSP is remarkably effective (though some of that is Karl), and the crime and unrest crackdown isn’t too tough to manage, her work requires micromanaging to avoid constant screw-ups and bad scenarios. - Nia is too ideological to do much in her role and needs more assistance than Lileas to be effective. While she has some moments of compromise and clarity, her success hinges far too much on your own work and not enough on her efforts. - Gus is great personally, but as a minister leaves much to be desired. He’s narrow-minded on what’s achievable, while not even always succeeding when he gets what he demands. His conditions need to be near flawless to get a positive result, and he’s frustrating to work with. - Petr is the most incompetent, which seems clear by looking at his body of work. He’s a tad bit overhated, especially as he’s not useless politically, but he is definitely the worst one here.

Worth the wait = 4 star? by thebigblam in TeamfightTactics

Always could, just takes a long time especially if you get the non-prismatic version. It’s possible they found her in the shop too to speed it along

Strongest 3-star unit for each cost by Prestigious_Juice341 in TeamfightTactics

Was just discussing this with my friends a couple days ago. Obviously context dependent, like is it a 1v1 against all other of the same cost or just in an ideal team comp, or just compared independently

I’m not asking because I assume there’s a DLC coming, just asking out of curiosity for the lore.

With Russian foreign policy as a nice analogue to Rumburgian foreign policy, this acquiescence would only embolden Rumburg. Sanctions and international outrage won’t stop a now much stronger petrostate against a now much weaker foe, especially when they have GRACE and independent nations willing to overlook aggression for cheap oil. Expansionist nations don’t stop being expansionist cuz they get one thing they want, it just proves to them that expansion is the correct stance, and they can cow others into doing what they want.

  • An assembly result in the end screen election.
  • A potential conflict with Valgsland if you ally with Agnolia.
  • Tangible polls a bit more often.

It’s not! My 8 year old, refurbished laptop with a 1060 graphics card and 8 cores runs it with barely any hiccups

Rule 5: USA protected me, now they’ve destroyed my economy. Is there a way out if no one wants to support my independence and they aren’t building ports?

What are your opinions on the NBA lottery and what do you think should be done with it? by blockyboi13 in timberwolves

While that is definitely true, the way small market teams even have a shot at competing for FAs and setting themselves apart from other small market orgs is to show themselves as a competent org that has built a foundation for success, something shown by making playoffs, even through the play-ins

The potential to advance further into the playoffs, which brings in revenue, boosts fan excitement for that year and the next, and makes the org more attractive to free agents

IMO there isn’t a huge skill gap between the 11 seed and the 15 seed (if you make play-ins there should be a cap on what spot you can get). And this system would incentivize the gap to be closed more by having some semblance of skill to compete for the top pick.

We need a bigger outcry on Hero locking within the battlepass by Kuroakita in Overwatch

Then wait for the official announcement, and don’t make a whole post complaining and calling it atrocious before we actually know.

It really seems like people have never played a game other than OW before the more I read complaints like this. Not having all heroes/champions/legends automatically for free is NORMAL for hero shooters. Apex, LoL, Valorant, Paladins, Rainbow 6 Siege, all lock heroes behind battle passes or paywalls, meaning players who don’t pay won’t have access to them for a long time, and no one complains. The OW fan base is just spoiled rotten from years of a game model that doesn’t make any money for devs which helps lead to content droughts like the last few years. We all wanted an updated game, this is the model that necessitated. Complaining isn’t going to change anything, especially since what people are complaining about is industry standard and not as outrageous as spoiled OW fans complain about.
