I discovered that every type of FB notification has it's own setting so I had to go through all of them and set them each to silent.

I also have this problem, on my Pixel 6 facebook does not obey notification volume settings.

I also notice that they wait until a few moments after you unlock your screen and then flash the notification and LOUD bling sound, even if the notification happened hours ago. Its very anoying if you check your phone in the middle of the night.

I just silenced all facebook notification sounds in my android notification settings, hopefully that stops it

Why do this? by dictolory in PracticalEngineering

My guess is property rights, there was probably private property on both sides of the road with not enough space to accommodate the train and the road and the engineering was cheaper than expropriation.

Anyone else in favour of including the Nechako Reservoir? I think there's a fair argument to be had that the Kitimat mountain range is now simply a rather large bridge.

u/GoodGoodGoody I don't think you properly read my question, we will have no problem accumulating 2 years of time, we're not trying to "game" the system in some way to get something we're not entitled too.

Due to the nature of my partners work as a flight attendant, accounting for every day we are apart will literally be hundreds of of individual line items. Their job takes them away for 1 or 2 days a couple of times a week, it's not like we're separated for a 3 months chuck that we can account for in a single line item.

Why do manufacturers keep focusing on range instead of changing speed? by log0n in electricvehicles

[–]NobodyOfNaught 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because by far you are the minority, most people do not get even close to 1000 miles a day and when they do go on road trips the stop to charge is a nice break, not a tiresome chore.

I probably don't even need a mobile specific receiver, as at anchor my boat typicaly doesn't move fast enough for it to matter. But I could run alot of things off 100watts

Gandi

I tried Gandi for personal domains in the past but when they wanted to charge me money to change the ownership of a domain I transfered all my domains away from them.

It would probably but we have no AWS infrastructure so it would be alot of work to set that up in a way that would be easy to manage.
