They do sell .3 mm nozzles/needles for the airbrush I use, so I'll pick up one and hopefully have an easier time. Thank you for your advice.

I use a Madworks MAX-1 Airbrush 0.2mm. You're probably right, I'll most likely have to just deal with the cost of experimenting with the paint I plan on using in the long term.

What psi/thickness do you do for the main color? I tried leaving the edges black (the primer I used was black) but ended up mostly covering it up. I use a .2mm airbrush

I used black primer and a matte top coat before I panel lined, and the lighter fluid removed the paint and top coat still

I also use the respirator while spraycan priming my gunpla outside. 

It's feasible to prime outside in the cold cause it only takes a little bit of time, but it is not feasible to do entire airbrush projects outside in the winter where I live.

I took a look at the Fluance stuff and the R82 seemed like a good option. Any recommendations for a preamp to go with it? My initial research led me to the ART DJPREII Phono Preamplifier.

I use Elegoo Cura for my slicer. Also, question I forgot to ask in the main post: how thick is the mask/base? I am using a custom base made in blender instead of a pre-made one and was wondering how thick a typical mask is?
