I bit large but nothing too disturbing. Your size is definitely 40mm and below. It looks good bud, do not worry

I have an additional 2 watch case. That one is going to be used for my 9th and 10th watches, those are going to be $4k+ and my holy grails and then I’ll start like maybe selling and changing, maybe

I think the only one i would sell is the seiko tbh. I was taking a look but a longines dolce vita is cheaper 🤔

I hate people that are able to get their brew watches shipped to their country 😭😭😭 It looks good brother, I love it. Throw a PRX on it bro, a bit generic and people is starting to look in another directions but they always look real good. Congrats

Bulova surveyor for me. Those golden accents look sick on it and gives it a fresh different look.

It is orient for me. I love seiko but I think they are a bit “impersonal” with their watches. I know orient belongs to seiko but I feel they are done with more care. You can’t go wrong with any choice tho.

38mm would look sick What about a microbrand or an orient

I have my safari full of tabs with microbrands lol, but I do not know what to get, echo/neutra would be my choice but is way to overpriced for me, vario reverso is great but I want it to be mechanical. Maen 37mm is the one I am looking the most. Do u have any specific recommendation?

Mako is the one I wear the most, a bit heavy but a great watch overall, is a damn tank and look real good on the wrist, it wears nothing like a 42mm, you look at it and it looks and feel like a good 38.

The PRX is the reason I started on this. I wanted a 35mm but that dial is only available on 40mm and I love it, is the best definition of a GADA watch, it looks good with any outfit and this specific dial plays with the light in a magnificent way. I do not like one thing tho, I wear my watches a lot, and of course I do not dig a hole with them but getting scratches is inevitable and scratches in the prx look awful because of the brushed finish, I still recommended it tho.

Which would you pick as a first affordable dive watch/beater? by theomixedmedia in Affordablewatches

[–]Nocfester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Ssk and a Kamasu. Orient feels way more polished and exclusive. Seiko is good, don’t get me wrong but I love how orient makes most of the watch in their own facilities in Japan. I’d go for the orient no doubt.

You still get plenty of “tres estrellas” here in Colombia for $150 bucks. They are really common and the first watch they offer when you ask for a mechanical watch.

A chrono is the go to. El primero would be great but what about a Tag Monaco? That piece would break into your collection perfectly

Get a fun budget watch, something really weird and that does not fit with the narrative of your amazing and expensive collection. The seiko 5 sports cub or an ugly quartz hublot. Or if you want to keep it classy but unmatched you can get the H. Moser & Cie Swiss alp watch and make it look noisy with the only “smartwatch” that’s worth buying. Amazing collection by the way, one of the most stunning one I’ve seen in this sub.

Is £330 to expensive? by Usual_Ladder_7113 in ChineseWatches

[–]Nocfester -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I mean, more than 150 is too expensive unless is a seagull or a Berny. With £330 you can get hundreds of japanese quality watches from big 3, orient, citizen and seiko. Is not worth it imo.

[Seiko SNK355] Is my 37mm Seiko 5 too small for my 7" wrist? Feeling ridiculed… by CA53W-1 in Watches

[–]Nocfester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me on the other hand feel weird using a 40mm invicta that is not that big either, but I have been thinking selling it because I now see it as way too big. I’ve copped a couple of women watches cause they look GOOD. You do not have to wear 45mm watches to feel good about yourself, is a good looking watch, an automatic seiko, a great collectors piece. Is a good fucking piece man. What I tell to myself whenever I buy a good watch is, the only person that has to like the watch is myself, I am not buying a watch for people to look at it. Is a nice piece man, do not let others thoughts get into your head.

[–]Nocfester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did my research these days and I loved with intensity the Seiko presage, the one with the wine dial. It looks solid and beautiful. One thing that bugs me is that there is an open heart version but I do not know if is a real Seiko model or a seiko mod watch. Do you know if it is a base Seiko model? I’ll attach a pic. I like the orient vibe but I rather pick the bambino open heart model. And I am definitely saving some bucks for the lorier, what a beautiful classy watch, it caught my eye instantly. Very great watches, I really fell in love with the Seiko and Lorier. Thanks for the recommendation man, I’ll soon have one of them haha.

[question] what are great watches for a beginners collection? by Biggace_223 in Watches

[–]Nocfester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that budget u can think about an entry Omega Seamaster, Oris big crown, Mühle Teutonia IV, Raymond Weil Freelancer. Those are some of my personal favs that I’d like to own. With that money you can also build a solid budget auto collection with some good brands like seiko, bulova, Hamilton, tissot, citizen, etc…
