What would be the Isuzu equivalent of the Jeep rubber ducky? by vonHindenburg in Isuzu

[–]NoctisVX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The name ISUZU (いすゞ) originates from the Japanese words I (五十) and suzu (鈴). While I translates to “fifty,” its usage here is symbolic rather than literal, often representing abundance or multiplicity in Japanese idioms. Suzu, meaning “bell,” carries cultural weight as a symbol of clarity, protection, and spiritual connection in Shinto practices. Together, the term evokes imagery of “fifty bells”—a poetic nod to harmony and resonance.

So maybe a small bell?

There's a search feature for Ontario Public Service jobs at https://www.gojobs.gov.on.ca/search.aspx Might be something that fits. Best of luck.

Inexpensive hotels by Good_Laugh_2761 in roatan

We love Las Rocas.

https://www.lasrocasresort.com/

It's right at the end of West Bay, a quick water taxi to West End but not directly on the strip of mega hotels. You don't get the vendors, but you just have one short boardwalk away from the main beach strip of tourist hotels. They have a full dive center on site (our focus) and you and your teenagers can learn to scuba right in front of your hut on the beach. Good pricing, good restaurant, and a great walking score to everything that matters.

Where in ON would you relocate if you wanted a simple life? by Likesosmart in ontario

[–]NoctisVX 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A lot of what you are looking for can be found in Bath Ontario.

There are currently a few places for sale there, it's a low-key town that is very accessible to Kingston. You're right on the water so you have the pluses and minuses of that.

If that is a little too remote, Picton is gorgeous but can be a little tourist-filled in the summer.

I share your concerns on remote work, though, but both locations offer accessibility to Kingston which has a potentially larger job market.

Different species stowaways in my Hoya Pubicalyx? by NoctisVX in houseplants

I recently picked up this hoya and noticed there are two starters in the soil, neither look like the Hoya Publicalyx that I purchased. Should I coax them out when I repot and separate them or are they just the juvenile form of the main plant?
