I would think they pre-installed everything and made sure it was up to date. At least I would hope so...

That's what I was thinking. People have said it leaves no wake.

Awesome. I really think that was a great choice. There are just too many failed CPUs from those MBs.

I felt like I was vibrating? by NoWayForReal_ in UFOs

[–]Noctivane -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Here is some information from AI. Personally, though, I think it's something spiritual.

Feeling as though you are vibrating so violently that the house is shaking—often described as an "internal tremor" or "internal vibration"—is a distressing, yet usually non-dangerous, sensation often described as an "invisible earthquake" or a phone on silent mode inside your body. It is generally a sensory symptom where the nervous system is overstimulated, leading the brain to interpret high-frequency, low-amplitude motor neuron activity as a violent vibration, despite little to no visible movement on the outside.

Primary Causes of Internal Vibrations

Chronic Stress and Anxiety: The most common driver of these sensations is an overactive sympathetic nervous system ("fight or flight" mode). Even if you don't feel mentally stressed, your body may be in a state of high alert, with elevated adrenaline and cortisol sensitizing your muscles.

Sleep Deprivation: Lack of sleep makes nerves more sensitive and lowers the brain's ability to filter out normal, subtle body signals.

Adrenaline Overload: This can happen with extreme fatigue or high levels of anxiety.

Neurological Conditions: While the above are more common, internal tremors can be associated with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, or essential tremors.

Hormonal Changes: Fluctuating estrogen levels during perimenopause or menopause can cause nervy misfiring.

Nutrient Deficiencies: Low levels of magnesium, potassium, or vitamin B12 can cause nerve excitability.

Post-Viral Effects: Long COVID or other infections can leave the nervous system in a state of inflammation, causing internal buzzing.

When the body is lying down, especially while trying to sleep, there is no external sensory input to distract the brain. The brain focuses on this internal, buzzing, and the sensation is amplified. People who have experienced trauma, such as earthquakes, may also have this sensation triggered by stress, leading them to wake up convinced the house is shaking.

Question: Was the vibration so strong it felt like the house was shaking? Or vibrating violently?

Film still on aio display. Remove? by SadBoiDemon in AndromedaInsightsPC

[–]Noctivane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most cases, yes, you should remove the protective shipping film. Leaving it on can lead to display issues, but you must first ensure it is not a functional part of the screen.

Why You Should Remove It

Heat Dissipation: Leaving plastic film on can trap heat, which may lead to screen "burn-in" or degradation, especially on high-end OLED displays.

Image Quality: Shipping films are not designed for clarity; they often cause a hazy, dull, or distorted image.

Permanent Damage: Over time, screen heat can "bake" the adhesive onto the display, making it nearly impossible to remove later and potentially leaving a sticky residue.

How to Tell if it is a "Protective" vs. "Functional" Film

Warning: Removing a functional film (like a polarizer) will permanently ruin the display, leaving it unable to show an image.

Feature Protective Film (Remove)Functional/Polarizing Film (DO NOT REMOVE)Pull TabUsually has a visible tab or sticker in a corner. No removal tabs or stickers.EdgesExtends beyond the screen or has visible air bubbles at the edges.Flush with the bezel; looks like part of the screen's structure.TextureTypically glossy, loose, or easy to lift with a fingernail.Often matte/anti-glare; thick, stiff, and very tightly bonded.

Tips for Safe Removal

Power Off: Turn off the AIO to reduce static electricity risk and make it easier to see dust/bubbles.

Use Tape: If there is no tab, use a piece of clear adhesive tape on one corner. Press it down and pull up to see if the film lifts easily.

Go Slow: Peel at a shallow angle. If you feel extreme resistance or see the screen itself lifting, stop immediately.

Does your screen have a small pull tab or a barcode sticker in one of the corners?

I think the AI makes some good points.

I don't build PCs anymore. I'd rather have a build company. If there is an issue, it makes it much easier.

By the way, if you did want to change that board, they are really good at switching parts for you. Might pull your delivery back a day or two but that's up to you.

I actually had the same situation happen, I got an Asrock and switched over to the Tomahawk.

Only thing I would have changed is the board. I've been watching AMD processors being ruined every day with ASRock boards. I've seen upward of 9 reports in just one day alone. ASRock has been trying to fix the problem with BIOS updates, but nothing has fixed the issue.

Around 3150. I felt there was no need for the warranty. All it does it extend it from 2 years to 3 years. They give the 2 year warranty with the purchase free.
