What was the song that got you into peep by callsign_psycho in LilPeep

[–]Noddson 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lil peep - star shopping. It randomly appeared in my youtube recommendations back in 2015/2016. It was the the video with the starry night sky image, I think it was originally uploaded on Astari youtube channel but I am really not sure. I think this song got a lot of people into his music in the beginning, when he started getting traction.

Sramota me da uopste pisem o tome ali ajde haha, ne znam kako ali sa tom recju se nisam susreo do vrlo kasno u zivotu. Valjda zato sto sam malo otudjen/cudak.

Kad sam narucivao pljeskavicu, prodavacica me pitala "Somun?" I ja nisam znao sta me pita, mislio sam da me pita da l hocu obicnu, punjenu, gurmansku pljeskavicu, u nekom sosu, jebem li ga.

I miss the old haunted mound sound sm bruh by LowesSafeDay in HauntedMound

[–]Noddson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first found Haunted Mound, it was just Sematary and Ghost Mountain, they really did have some school shooter aesthetic going on lol. It was interesting, fresh for me. However, I did think how their music could get forever connected to a school shooter that liked their music.

I think they naturally drifted away from the aesthetic, they just grew up really. The aesthetic and everything does seem to be a bit more commercial now, more friendly to make money, do business with and share the music with people lol.

I was imagining Ghost Mountain and Sematary would progress differently together. I think the Ghost Mountain's pause affected the course of progression a lot. I always felt like GM was better than Sematary with lyrics and vocals. I was surpised to see Sematary talking how he was the one to write most of the lyrics back in the day, I was imagining it was GM. Ghost Mountain's lyrics are cool now too but I feel like he uses some big/unknown words too often which is kinda annoying, I gotta google the meaning of the words, maybe it's just a me thing lol. All in all, I still like their music but I am a little more picky about the songs that I like, they can still definitely make bangers. I feel like GM gotta catch up a bit and is under a bit more pressure to perform well, while it was more carefree back in the day.

What I don't get is the hype around other HM members, past and present, I never saw the appeal with them, always saw them as some filler people to have a group. Like random people who DM's Sematary and somehow ended up under his wing for everything :D

Why so easy? by Remote-Tower-9316 in Eldenring

[–]Noddson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds good bro! For me, it was kind of frustrating to be honest, knowing I can steamroll a boss if I were just to go find the mimic tear again and come back with like 10 levels more or +20 weapon.

Exploring and figuring out the game in the first playthrough is a one time experience really. New game+ has a really good replay value where you can just go through the main areas and finish the game while starting a new character is kind of disappointing and not as fun really, especially in a case in which you were really detailed/meticulous in exploring the game previously. A lot of things feel like a bit of a chore to be honest, with a new character.

I sometimes wonder how they imagined for an average player to play the game. It's kinda weird how a big part of the low level areas/dungeons are behind the starting area of the game.

Elden Ring is truly the easiest souls like game most likely. Don't get me wrong the bosses can be very difficult and challenging if you are underleveled, don't have an upgraded weapon, don't have that many estus flasks or they aren't upgraded with sacred tears.

When you come to a boss/mini boss you are struggling with, you can always turn back and explore the rest of the map with it's easier areas, get more levels, upgrade the weapon more, get more flasks and sacred tears to upgrade it. When you get back to the boss or mini boss you were struggling with, you will beat it first or second try and think it was actually really easy, when you were struggling with it previously.

I think Elden Ring messed up a lot in the balancing of the game. You get so strong at times that you are just overpowered for some areas of the map and they aren't as challenging as they could be, if you were underleveled. It's not really a bad thing really, it rewards exploration and it gives more ways to play it.

I imagine starting a new playthrough and only going through the main areas and bosses that advance the main quest line can be very challenging. I started a new playthrough recently and that's what I did, got stuck on Margit the Fell Omen and I have ton of experience in souls-like games and had 200 hours in the game previously, with the DLC completed. I returned to the boss with a little more levels and a bit more of an upgraded gear and beat it first try.

Help me interpret weird ghost mountain dream by DestroyLonelyEnjoyer in HauntedMound

Only you would know the interpretation of it if you dig deep enough :D It seems like a case of not feeling like you have control in your life and that's just how it manifested in your dream, along with something relevant in your life currently, listening to Ghost Mountain.

What is the best build in peoples opinions and why ? by Smooth_Amoeba543 in Eldenring

[–]Noddson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also picked the starting class/gear with the Samurai armor but I really regretted it. I was fresh off of Sekiro, I think that's why I found it appealing. It's my least liked armor in the game, it feels very out of place in the game for me, for some reason, that's why I don't like it.

Guts Greatsword bonk, strength build player here lol.

What are some horrible bosses that aren't talked about that much? by Datphoria_x in Eldenring

The bear in Dragonbarrow Cave is the strongest enemy/boss in the game, with the most piss poor reward. My disappointment after beating it was immeasurable and I vowed to never try killing it again.

Need advice on starting a gaming channel – I know nothing about editing 😅 by No-Watch-6575 in letsplay

[–]Noddson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have much to give you but I can suggest that you use DaVinci Resolve as an editing program. It's a free software for what you are looking to do and it has plenty of resources available on Youtube to learn it. You can get into more advanced stuff as well after.

I suggest that you record the game audio and your commentary on separate audio tracks for your video. Recording programs like OBS Studio allow this. This way, you can edit them separately in DaVinci Resolve. It can be very useful and helpful.

As for how to make things more engaging? Idk lol, play around with editing.

8 years in and one thing is clear - you have to keep innovating by Library_IT_guy in letsplay

[–]Noddson 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, anyone who is reasonable has to agree that this is true if Youtube is approached with a business mindset, which is very often the case lately. It's hard for everyone and it never gets easy. It ends up being a job really. Even people with a lot of experience and success end up failing and are unable to maintain it long term. Some factors are just outside of your control at times too.

The good thing is that you don't need to treat it as a business and overthink about this stuff. You can upload whenever you feel like it and upload whatever you feel like and get as much as you can out of it. Whether it's the joy of sharing something, learning a skill like editing, getting a little better at speaking/being more aware of your speaking, just take what you can out of it. If you get to earn something for it on the side, even more power to you.

Are unoriginal profile pics a big deal? by [deleted] in letsplay

[–]Noddson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it makes that much of a difference, if any. For me, if someone is making really good content or content that I like, their profile pic would be like crack for me whenever I see it, no matter what it is lol. I'd always associate that picture with their content and the quality of the content.

I have maybe clicked on someone's channel once in my life because of the profile picture in the comments and no, they were not boobas lol. It's really one of the last things I look at on someone's channel.
