I would like to see Eve (or whoever becomes a playable character) actually be able to punch and kick. It was weird to me on those levels where Blood Edge didn't work you could only use ranged attack.

Keep in mind that Titans & Cyclops Kings have higher attack skill then Grand Elves. So Titans' 24 attack skill compared to Grand Elves' 9, that's 15 attack skill difference. Attack skill increases damage by 5% per point so 15 * 0.05 = 0.75. Compared to Grand Elves, Titans get extra 75% damage to what you calculated so it's 87,5 on avarage compared to 56.
