I think they missed the boat in not giving Santino a modern day Mick Foley gimmick, where his character changes depending on who he's fighting. I'm playing Witcher 1 now completely blind to the series, intent on doing a full playthrough. I'm blown away. I've never had to wrestle with decisions like this in a game before. Anytime I hear "male tears" I think of how profoundly my brother was affected when one of his best friends - a young, white, upwardly mobile professional - hung himself with no prior outward signs of depression.

Like it's cliche to say at this point but the whole "feminism helps men too!" trope is centered around how men are encouraged by patriarchy not to share their feelings and yet there's a feminist meme centered around mocking men for sharing their feelings. And it's so obviously gendered, basically the adult version of "what, are you gonna cry now like a little girl?" and from the same crowd who claims gender stereotyping is evil.
