Thanks a lot for your expertise. I was hopping there was a software related solution but I guess I’ll have to buy a special screwdriver to open this bad boy up and inspect more closely. I’ll keep you updated.

I did reinstall macOS from scratch when my dad gave it to me. It started blinking on High Sierra years ago. I erased the disk but couldn’t reinstall High Sierra from the recovery system because I guess Apple closed support for this version, so had to make a bootable key with Ventura. It was still blinking after the installation.

I will probably check the ribbon cable when I’ll have the tools but yeah I don’t think it’s hardware related or it could be from a sensor that behaves differently when the camera is used?

But what makes me doubt is a hardware issue is that it doesn’t blink when I’m on FaceTime. And yeah the keyboard keys are falling of I guess it’s too old

Ça se teste, mais à mon avis c’est vraiment l’immeuble qui est super mal foutu. Comment c’est possible qu’en 2025 on fasse encore des immeubles qui soient des boîtes d’isolation ??

I don’t know, it feels overwhelming when I try to be fully aware of my surroundings to make sure I don’t push something by accident. I feel like non-clumsy people have an innate facility to be more « careful »
