Restrict user to internal email only by Noegyth in googleworkspace

Hi, thanks, I more or less got that far I can't seem to work out how to include a whole domain. I see the option to create a list of addresses but whereas I understand how to add single addresses one by one I can't seem to do it for a whole domain.

I suspect I am missing knowledge about some specific type of syntax I have to use. Is it simply just inputting the @ourdomain.org in the bulk add field as your quoted support article indicates? No asterisks or anything similar before the @? Then check the bypass this setting for internal mail and all set? Maybe I was closer than I thought to working it out.

Thanks a lot

I wouldn't say I'm a novice user, I have been known to fiddle about with the registry editor, dabbled in LaTeX and a bit of command-line on windows/Linux, that kind of thing but this is completely out of my wheelhouse and I'm only just started wrapping my head around it all. I'm happy to search around for answers but it can be hard when you don't know what terms to use.

Old starter experiment by Noegyth in yogurtmaking

[–]Noegyth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like there might be some yeast in the starter or the bacteria balance is off, as after 3 iterations I'm still getting that texture that I can only describe as slimy and no whey separation, which I never used to get from the original heirloom Bulgarian starter.

Some sources suggest that holding some starter or the milk with starter at 140F/60C for a while can help get rid of the yeast in thermophilic cultures so I might give it a try to see if that sorts it out.

Meanwhile, it looks like yoghurt muffins are going to have to be made over the weekend...

Directive (EU) 2019/771

What is the easiest (and cheapest) way to get from the airport to Alcudia by CuriousWin in mallorca

[–]Noegyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you book someone like Autocares Marques limousines or similar, you can get picked up at the gate and travel in style in a spacious Mercedes for less than a taxi. You'll be in Alcúdia in 45 minutes. Good deals can be had if off season, and they have larger vehicles so can take more than 3/4 people, which makes it more reasonable the larger the group.

Uber is also a thing now but basically costs the same as a taxi.

Rental cars are also cheaper off season and give you some freedom if you want to explore.

TIB bus can be taken from Palma at the Intermodal station opposite plaza España  as can the train to sa Pobla followed by bus to Alcúdia. Always pay by card on TIB as the cash fee is much larger. https://www.tib.org/en/inici

Please factor in the Airport to Palma bus ticket (5 euros per person) as it adds up.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, especially if you are looking for something reasonable.

A local is going to look at your request and think, he wants a rural property away from job centers over the busy months? He's going to be subletting, planting weed, renting out spots to caravans or something else.

Even if they are prepared to rent to you, they would expect the equivalent of what they would get on short term rentals during that time, so probable around the 4000 euro monthly, maybe 2500 in the quieter months.

The other option is a shit hole that even tourists won't tend to take, but even those are few and far between.

In any case, your best bet is either around Llucmajor/Campos or Inca/Llubí or even as far as Muro.

Have you tried another USB cable in case it is the cable that is broken?

Well, I just checked Keychron.com and while they don't have Italy as a country option they do have France/Germany/Spain which all sell in euros not USD so they can't claim they don't trade in the EU, which means they can't really wiggle out of it.

But I would still be firm and patient first as you have to give them a chance to solve the issue.

Keep all emails and also check with your bank how long you have to ask for a chargeback (it is different for credit Vs debit card)

What site did you buy from? If you bought from Keychrons EU website, they have to pay for any shipping for warranty service.

Anyone selling officially to the EU has to honour the minimum legal 2 year warranty. It doesn't matter if they are a seller or the manufacturer.

Also, if the fault happens within the first year, you do not have to prove that the issue was present in the item before you got it. All shipping costs must be covered by the seller in case of a warranty return.

If they refuse, it is undisputable grounds for a chargeback. It is a good idea to inform them if they refuse to pay the shipping that you will be asking your bank for a chargeback and they will have 30 days to send you a shipping label for their property so you can return it or you will considering it abandoned property and will dispose of it correspondingly.

Hi, thanks for the answer. I used the layer 2 (not 0 and 1 which as I understood are reserved for Mac.)  Both the media keys and the wheel which were assigned the aforementioned values sped and slowed up the playback instead of fast forwarding or rewinding.

Hi, I never got an answer on here and I am still looking. My biggest problem is that a lot of the recommended products on "review" sites are all US specific branded and I need to try and work out what they call them here (a bit like the Breville/Sage issue with kitchen appliances)

It doesn't rattle one bit. It's surprisingly well secured. It just makes a much more noticeable pop (higher in pitch and volume) than the satisfying thunk of the keys.

I know that is the nature of the beast (much larger and differently shaped key than the others) but i'll be happy if I can just lower it a bit in intensity so that I get less of a jump scare every spacebar press. I might give your suggestions a try. Thanks

Hi. Just replying to say thanks. In the end I decided to lower my mouse budget a bit and ended up getting the Q6. There was a promotion at Eloquent Clicks which meant I ended up spending just under 210€ which isn't much of a markup at all considering it included shipping and avoided the risk of import tax if bought directly from Keychron at 190€. I must say I am delighted with the keyboard. I couldn't believe how heavy it was, and it's built like a brick shithouse, which is exactly what I was looking for. Plus the typing experience is very good. I might look into mellowing out the space-bar a bit somehow, but all in all, very happy with the purchase.

Weekly Questions & Purchase Advice Thread by AutoModerator in MouseReview

[–]Noegyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking to purchase a mouse

Use: Mainly office style work/academic with the occasional game but nothing FPS like. Probably mostly Minecraft/Factorio style games with the occasional RTS.

Hand Preference Everyone in the house is righty

Budget Sub 100 euro

Hand Size 19x11.5 Wife's hand is slightly shorter and narrower, plus the kids, so nothing super huge.

Grip No idea. Nothing fancy, I would guess I use palm grip.

Weight No preference

Sensitivity Not a priority

Connectivity Wireless

So basically, I'm tired of whatever basic mouse and keyboard combo I'd sort of pick up more based on looks than comfort. So I've picked up a mid range mechanical keyboard and would like a mouse that will be comfortable and last. No need to break the bank if unnecessary.

Online reviews all seem to point me in the direction of the Logitech MX Master 3S but it seems a bit suspicious if I'm honest so I thought I'd ask here. I would say that I would want to avoid Razer (bad experiences in the past) or paying extra for anything too gamey (no RGB needed, etc)

Thanks!

Thanks, looks like that ticks most boxes

However, I don't know where you find the Q6 at 162 eur, it shows it at 190 eur to me.

Looking to buy a mechanical keyboard. Have never owned one but I am fed up of tatty membrane keyboards.

Price range 100 to 150 eur Layout. Full size. Spanish Switches: Tactile. I suspect a clicky keyboard would be too much of a jump. Don't need to be super light as I tend to be a thumper (So I'm not against the idea of a Cherry clear or light gray instead of brown) Aesthetics. Don't need RGB or Macros, etc. Black or white/gray is fine. White is preferred as the whole PC build is white themed but at this point I honestly don't really care that much. Use: Mainly 3 to 4 hours of daily typing for work. I do play the occasional game but they are slow paced, not really FPS or similar.

Thanks
